Did you see how happy Painter was when the team got the 5 second call? Slapping 5's with Newman. I bet more than anyone on this board Painter is so happy that Brandon is putting his game together. Painter knows what Newman is capable of.

and that could have gone the other way, IMO.
I thought it was a block, but I love the extra effort Newman is giving on defense. Play like that and you tend to catch a few breaks.
