Will Purdue obtain more first place votes with their decisive victory this week?

I doubt it, that win really won’t figure much into it. We were expected to win going away like the other higher rated teams they had played previously had.

Some pollsters are a week behind, I bet we scoop another 2 or so 1st place votes.

We might get 1 more because someone didn't vote last week. There were 62 while the week before there were 63.

But other than that there really isn't any reason for someone to change their vote.

Here's how the poll changed if anyone cares:

We lost 2 #1s, Houston gained one, Kansas lost 1.

Reason for our drop is really due to 3 people not turning in their ballot. They all had Purdue #1 last week. Another one missed last week, turned one in today with Purdue #1. One voter also flipped and put Purdue #1 ahead of KU. Another flipped and put Purdue #2 behind Houston. The only 2 that had us at #3 last week moved us to #2, jumping UConn.

Interestingly, Arizona and UConn stayed in their spots despite losing. 3-loss Tennessee is next so it does make some sense.
