When was the last time (if ever) a team had preseason Heisman favorite (could see Moore next year) and Preseason national player of the year (Carsen) on campus at the same time? I'm sure it has happened before from another school. Not sure if it has ever happened at Purdue. Either way it's a great time to be a Boilermaker. Even though basketball it's off to a great start.

I may be in the minority but I think he will still be here. I really don't think the things that kept him out of the draft last year will improve between now and April. He needs to be more of a true point guard to impress NBA scouts, and as much as we need him to score this year, that isn't going to happen. The 2 closest comps that I have for him are Allen Iverson and Kemba Walker. Both were shoot-first PGs, but they were still PGs. I don't see Carsen as one.

Carsen is simply not a pg. He's wired to score. It is what makes him great at it.

Carsen may not be here next year but he was the preseason player of the year and will syill be at Purdue (enrolled at least) when they announce next year's preseason Heisman watch.
