micah and nd had a great comeback fall short up at the Cuse. They were losing 49- 20, closed the half w/ a 9 -0 run. Had along open 3 pointer at buzzer just off, lost by 3
Man that center for Houston is a defensive anchor and is actually decent on offense too. Edey will need to get him in foul trouble to open things up at the rim.
If Purdue plays Houston this year, I'm a happy man no matter how it goes (prefer a win, though).
They’re super physical on defense so it’d be interesting to see how their games will be called in the tournament. For everyone (non Purdue fans) that think edey is going to be screwed by “non B1G” refs in the tourney (spoiler alert Edey averages more FTA and less fouls in non conf over his career and in the last two years he’s been the offensive feature and also no such thing as non B1G refs), I would think that they’d say the same thing about Houston’s defense. They get away with A LOT of contact in the Big 12….and they aren’t that deep.
Seen a few brackets predicting they could see northwestern in the second round. That game may be 30-28 with 10 players fouled out and Buie finishes with 25 😂
