I give him credit for realizing his coordinator sucked and firing him. Darrell "the hat" hazell absolutely refused to do this.

In fairness to Fleck (and I wanted Brohm a year before we fired the Haze), he DID produce results at Western Michigan. I just never thought his conservative offense would work here. We needed a ballsy coach who is going to throw it all over the yard, go for it on 4th down, recruit and develop NFL QBs...in other words: Jeff Brohm.
