I have read several articles about the new commit, Edwards, and as I read them, I can't help but think of E'twaun Moore. I know it's not fair to compare the kid yet, and he obviously hasn't event stepped on to a college court, but just everything I am reading makes me think of 3" shorter Smooge

This is what made the comparison jump out at me...
"An often-deadly shooter with a knack for creating shots for himself, Edwards averaged 24 points per game as a junior"
The Edwards that reminds me a little of Moore is Vince because he never seems that quick, but he's crafty, smooth, in control, has a nice mid-range game, and he uses his length well. Moore made major strides as a defender at Purdue and I think that Vince will do the same. Both are more athletic than they initially appear.

As far as Carson, he comes nowhere near Moore's ranking, but I think that's because he is under 6' and isn't a pure point guard. Like Moore, he appears to be a capable scorer. He played pg for his AAU team, but 2 guard for his high school team. I actually like that he played 2 guard, because I think that it is important for Purdue point guards to be comfortable playing off the ball. Purdue has struggled with point guards who want the ball in their hands all the time. Purdue has a lot of players that can play on or off the ball, which is perfect for the way that Purdue runs its offense.

I definitely get the Vince Edwards comparison.
