It was never needed. Government forced racism is racism. It doesn't matter in what form. It shouldn't exist and never should have. Things are better off when they happen naturally and happen based of merit.
So, if that is the case, why aren't you against legacy admissions at the IVY League, in particular and other schools? That is not happening naturally or based on merit.
Because I don't care about legacy admissions. They mean nothing. That's a kids last name. I'm more worried about Ivy League school denying Asians because they got their "quota" and dropping standards for other races.
I know you don't care about legacy admissions because most of them are white. Perhaps the legacy admissions, and you know some of them ain't meeting the minimum standards of getting in, are taking up spots for the Asian students.
Maybe they are, but they aren't discriminating against race when it comes to legacy admissions. It's just names.
As an example considering the population break down, sure looks like a disproportionate amount of blacks are on television as news reporters and the like. Not saying they aren’t qualified, just many have been hired somewhat recently.

Diversity doesn’t bother me at all. I gave an example about potential DEI hires and you gave a superb reply.
The point is why do these new black reporters have to be DEI or potential DEI hires. Why can’t they be just new black reporters that you recently seen on TV?
You're asking the question as if it's actually meaningful. It's getting embarrassing. You should feel embarrassed. Ashamed actually, to support racism.
They could very well be. Just pointing out based on the percentage of the population it appears to be more of DEI hires to me. Also commercials are another example. Just seems a bit overkill as Hispanics are not employed anywhere near as many blacks in these two examples.
It’s bacically fear. Author, Frances Wellsing covers this in her book called “The Isis Papers”. She points out that white folks in a few decades they are not going to be the domino ant race in America anymore. Look at the DNC this year. On TV you can see a very diverse resorentatuon of America with all of the different colors, ethnicities of people on the floor and throughout the building. It was beautiful to see. Conversely at this year and every election cycle RNC, there is nothing white faces in the crowd, mixed in a few brown faces if you look hard enough. Now that’s sad to see.
Then there is Skydog. Instead of embracing diversity in the news and entertainment industry, he calls it overkill to see so many more blacks on TV. Unbelievable. This is why they are so attracted to that make America great again BS.
Overkill? Wow. I call it progress. You live in Da Region all these years and still not used to black folks. What are you afraid to go outside? Afraid that white folks won’t be the dominant ethnic group in America in a few years. It’s people like you, the Boneman, 03, tj, Twin and others that turn black folks off from the Republican Party. I woke up in a foul mood and you just made my day. I’ve been posting for 23 years and wasn’t going to post this, but today is the day. We have two boys and adopted a black son and raised him from an infant. He has a good job and does well. My brother has five kids and adopted a Vietnamese boy and raised him well. My wife’s cousin adopted two black sons and they work for the University of Illinois. I hired the first black man at the company I used to work for. I hired another and the company had two.
Don’t give me crap about understanding diversity. How about you? How many white kids did you or your family adopt or help out in life?
Dude, you should be one of the first on here to embrace affirmative action and DEI. Why are you so against it then? I bet your son and the other adoptive kids in your family experienced racism in one form or another. If they know that they got hired because of DEI, what are going to do encourage them to turn the job down?
I want them to get a job and be successful on their own merits. I’m not a fan of quotas and having to hire minorities due to a government mandate like DEI. I want the most qualified to be hired regardless of skin color. That’s what was taught in this house.
Well, that's why we need affirmative action or DEI in the first place and why a black republican Arthur Fletcher developed it because qualified blacks and minorities have gotten passed up in hiring. Non-qualified whites have been getting jobs over minorities for decades. Also, how many legacy admissions to colleges actually meet the standards of getting into colleges? Y'all don't say nothing about that as many of those students are white.
