Again, you are out of touch. These HBCUs have always been integrated. Whites, Latinos and whoever else attend these schools. In the early 80s there was even a movie about Jim Gregory, a white dude played by Bruce Jenner, that played quarterback at Grambling St. Since black kids have lost interest in baseball, the baseball teams at a lot of these HBCUs have white and Latino players. The same with the golf teams. These HCBUs have always had white faculty members, administrators etc.

Similarly, with fraternities and sororities. At one time, at PWIs, blacks could not join fraternities and sororities. Therefore, in the early 1900s, blacks started their own fraternities and sororities. If y'all attended Purdue, you may have seen some of these black frats and sororities around campus. And yes, white men and women have joined these organizations.

Yes, the president has the power to declassify. However, just saying, or what Chump said "thinking about it" is not how it is done. There is still a process. One of them is that sensitive statements in the document have to be redacted. Even the special master is doubtful that these documents have been declassified.

Except there's already been some similar issues during Trump's time in office (way before any of this stuff) and the courts have ruled that yes, he has the authority to declassify whatever he wants, but he still has to follow the process.

The New York Times used that tweet to FOIA records, claiming that Trump had effectively declassified information about the secretive spy mission. When the DOJ countered that a mere tweet wasn’t enough, the issue made its way before a federal judge and an appellate panel.

“Declassification cannot occur unless designated officials follow specified procedures,” the appellate court ruled in July 2020.

Funny how all these "non-racists" don't know that HBCUs have always been integrated and find a reason to complain about "funding"? Guessing none of them complained about funding to traditional colleges when they WERE segregated, which seems inconsistent with their totally non- racist approach to HBCUs.

Here's the thing, if certain members of the MAGA movement had their way they'd do away with public education all together - The Devos/Amway Doctrine. They'd also be thrilled if institutions like Liberty, Bob Jones U, Belmont, Lipscomb and all the other church sponsored colleges got govt funding as well...

At a bare minimum you'd have to notify anyone else or any agency these documents pertained to that they were no longer classified, so that those people could stop observing the various protocols put in place at the time of classification. That is just one aspect of how a "legal strategy" aka baseless talking point developed by a loser like Kash Patel is replete with holes so huge (yuge) you could drive a truck through...

But it's even more basic as to why we know it never happened, and that's the fact that although Trump bloviates about it at rallies, none of his "legal team" has dared to raise it as an actual defense in court. because they are already on shaky ground themselves over the false declaration they signed when they lied to DOJ. And as the 3 Judge panel on the 11th Circuit (two Trump appointees) pointed out if you're going to make that claim you have to provide evidence and at the very least identify which of the 100 you are claiming you "declassified"...

The reason reputable people don't want to join Trump's defense team is that the although the money is good (though he never pays-ask Rudy), the risk to their reputation and the possibility of being disbarred or even ending up in jail is far too great. I already explained this. Yes, technically it requires words, but according to the official in the know (and in charge), he can say those words at any time anywhere and it's so. I think he was previously fishlips, or fishface, or freedomwins. He’s had many names. Unfortunately, some of the old, old timers here are quite enamored with him so he keeps coming back. Creepily brags about stalking other posters across other social media platforms, follows with creepy personal attacks, steps over the line, then I think he gets put in board timeout. I’m not here on a consistent basis so I can’t say for sure if he gets banned or his mommy takes away his phone.
