A name from the past. I wish the young Boiler fans could have seen Dave play. In my memory he would have been one the first Purdue players to embody what Boiler Basketball means. He averaged 32.5 points per game his senior year, was All American , all Academic,and All Big Ten for three years as I recall. At only 6'3" he was an absolute beast on the floor: hustle, intense, relentless on the boards. He was a smaller version of Brian Cardinal. Awesome.
It is really great that he and the other legacy players got involved. How about for next year's home game with IU getting a bunch of these guys sitting behind the bench. I would join in a fund raiser to pay their costs since our athletic program is broke. Boiler Up!
