There is a huge division between fans on this board. Yes, some are "trolls"...But for the most part, it's passionate fans who happen to share different perspectives on the outlook of the program, and what they believe should happen. I know nothing will probably change, but it's worth acknowledging that this board has lost good posters and lost good quality discussion potential, amongst fans.
I ask you this
Can we all take a step back and realize we are all Boilers for a reason? We all come from similar roots - hardworking, nothing handed to us type of families. That's the Purdue way- work hard, have good values, and earn your respect, but give it back to those in return ( or it should be like that atleast). Of course we are all human and maybe let our emotions take over in the heat of the moment, (I do sometimes but I know I need to work on it, we all do). But let's all take a step back and realize it's only sports. There will always be differing opinions, but let's all remember it's a board for discussion and not bickering. At the end of the day, we all are die- hard fans/supporters of Purdue and the University, and we represent the school as much of our athletes do.
Boiler up.
