Wow! This looked like a completely different Boilermaker team. They came out smoking and kept it up the whole game. There was an extra bounce in their step and they kept it up the whole game. There was also plenty of smiles on everyone's faces and great team chemistry. The team, which has seemed moribund, except for Ellis, really came to play. This bodes well for the rest of the season. I don't know what they had for Christmas dinner, but I hope they have more of the same this week. Great game ladies!!

Don't get too excited, we faced a young team without their best player on a night where our shots were falling. We aren't as good as we looked and UWisc not as bad. Glad we got minutes for everyone and really pleased with how Swanson is coming on. Still need Madison to show up in all four quarters. Great game for Terry with Jones running point a lot. Smith is still not in synch this year it seems.

That is apparently especially true of MSU. They are coming down quick and taking the first shot they can get, often a three and pushing the tempo to a rather fast pace. If they are hitting, they can play with anyone, if not, they can lose to anyone.
