Berg will be the man in center, he will be solid

Furst backup early in the season and see who comes on later

Small ball minutes, TKR middle, Heide 4, 5 min each half

It will be interesting the next few weeks to see the pieces come together hopefully

I wouldnt be surprised if Furst backed up TKR and heide didn’t get many minutes at the 4. It will likely depend on matchup but first substituted in with berg the other night and furst played some 4 last year. I actually feel like he has looked better at the 4 than 5, he has enough quickness to defend the 4 and he doesn’t play big the way berg does.

Berg way too slow to play many minutes, if he plays 20 mins/game, we will not have a very good season.

So for example....who is manning up against Alabama's two 6-11" guys then?
TKR-Berg to start and Furst-Jacobsen backing up. That’s the beauty of our team we have so much flexibility.

Also let’s not forget about Waddell. He could start on some big ten teams.

Maybe.. I just haven’t seen that yet from Waddell. I’m very concerned we could lose by 30 against Alabama with where we stand at the 5.

Heide COULD as well. I’d say him more so in Nelson. Tough matchup for sure but I think that’s where we need him to shine.

Good lesson for Purdue. Wouldn't surprise me. Adding Cliff Omori (SP?) from Rutgers really helped them. Sears one of the favorites for NPOTY.
