AP Poll - Purdue climbs a spot to #4

[Purdue Grad in Texas]

Auburn fell to #3, 14 points ahead of Purdue, and Kansas just two points further behind at #5.

Rest of the Big Ten - Wisconsin (13), Illinois (15), Ohio State (22) and Iowa jumps in at #25; Michigan State tumbles out......still a lot more movement to come as conference schedules and tournaments play out.

There's a whole lot of parity in the top 10 -12 right now. Easy to say it's Gonzaga and everybody else, but since they haven't been tested in 6 weeks, you can include them too.

How ironic is that? With THAT name in THAT State? wow.

I think there’s a pretty big drop off below Kentucky at 6. Duke and Nova do not look like they could come close to beating a top 6 team.

But a healthy Illinois can. And Texas Tech looks damn good right now.

Duke has to get a little bump simply because it's K's last year. But I agree with you that all things being equal they wouldn't contend.
