Please! No retreads! These guys...Sumlin, Spack, Chaney, Olson...have had their days at Purdue. But bringing them back would be a mistake. Would feel like a Fred Akers hire.

I would also have expected sumljn would make that a condition of his hiring (permission to interview for HC job). Regardless there are enough feelers out there purdue could hire him immediately after their final game
