I just watched it. He alluded to being pissed off that week because of playing Purdue. Sounds like the way Walters has handled himself, as it relates to UofI, was/is poor. No specifics. So whether that's things he has said, or bringing coaches and players with him, or personal things, is up to the imagination.

Even I want Walters fired. What’s the hold up? I mean, if you’re going to do it, why wait? The only reason it’s logical to wait is if you’re going to keep him.

The real hold up is that if the AD is involved in picking a new coach, you can be sure we'll wind up with another loser like Walters! The search and selection has to be by knowledgeable people, which means the AD does not qualify!

I have no idea who would serve as interim coach, but does it truly matter at this point?

Anyone they would pick to be interim coach could not possibly be worse than Walters, so there is no risk!
