In the 5 games starting with Vandy and ending with Michigan, Purdue opponents shot 47-92 (51.1%) from three. In the 6 games since, Purdue opponents have shot 28-96 (29.2%) from three, How much of this is defensive improvement and how much is just regression to the mean?
Additionally, Vandy (9-14), North Florida (10-22) and Gardner-Webb (14-25) each made 9 threes or more and combined to shoot 33-61 (54.1%). If Purdue holds each of those teams under 40%, we almost certainly win two of those games and maybe all three.
