Looks like we scored a visitOf those players, Shaver is the lowest rated prospect, and he has an excellent list of schools who offered.

Great! Dix is visiting that weekend as well it looks like.

Making a kid wear a mask while playing full court basketball is damn near abuse. These kids know silly rules when they hear them. You can force them to wear masks, but...

Purdue | MEDIUM | 6/18/21 |
Abuse and just incredibly stupid.Making a kid wear a mask while playing full court basketball is damn near abuse.
Although Painter has appeared to have been landing a higher percentage of his top priority targets lately, he has learned that he still needs to cast a wide enough net with other talent to ensure the roster will be solid.Abuse and just incredibly stupid.
While I'm surprised that Painter is going after another 4/5 for that class, Shaver looks like the real deal. A diamond in the rough when he was offered, but quickly polishing into a diamond.
Yes, and who knows which player will go to Kansas after a year here.Although Painter has appeared to have been landing a higher percentage of his top priority targets lately, he has learned that he still needs to cast a wide enough net with other talent to ensure the roster will be solid.
It would be good to have Jalen visit those days with him. Jalen has scheduled visits to Stanford and UNC. Working with local schools to setup other visits.
Have to wonder exactly how hard L$U is recruiting him...
Rivals has him as a PG and 247 has him as a SG. Matt Painter loves versatility.
So you're telling me we could have:When I told a recruiting-knowledgeable friend, whose kids go to Glenbard West, that Huff might be a fringe Purdue recruit, he said that if that was the case, "Purdue's recruiting class will be insane."
So you're telling me we could have:
Jayden (Ivey)
Mason (Gillis)
Braden (Smith)
Jalen (Washington)
Braden (Huff)
Brian (Waddell), and
Brandon (Newman)?
(But 'ya doesn't have to call me Ray)
Looking at the schools recruiting him I would not be surprised if that’s the case.We were definitely in his top 3 or four a few months ago so obviously there's been a parting of the ways. My guess is one of two things: 1) Vincent just not interested in what Purdue has to offer, or, 2) $omething in the recruiting proce$$ cau$ed Purdue to take a pa$$.

Same school as Bishop Daniels who we offered awhile back. A little off topic but Coach Paul Lusk just started an account on Twitter.
Why? It might be annoying to have it constantly rubbing on the underside of your chin but thats hardly abuse.Making a kid wear a mask while playing full court basketball is damn near abuse.
The fact that they are required to wear it is abusing common sense. And these kids know it, which is why they are wearing it under their chins. Why? It might be annoying to have it constantly rubbing on the underside of your chin but thats hardly abuse.
well, it significantly restricts the flow of oxygen for athletes, and has no effect on the transmission of COVID.Why? It might be annoying to have it constantly rubbing on the underside of your chin but thats hardly abuse.
🤣🤣 How does is restrict the flow of oxygen if it doesn't have an effect on the transmission of COVID? I think you confused yourself with this one lolwell, it significantly restricts the flow of oxygen for athletes, and has no effect on the transmission of COVID.
Besides, children/adolescents/teenagers are not spreading the Wuhan flu.
That's a pretty good "why?".

How does is...???
Confused? Maybe, but "how does is" does not sound like "is" is confused by me... maybe too much suffocation??!
"lol" is right!
Looks like the "discussion" is over. This discussion does not belong in this forum ... take it to the other forum.
It has to do with basketball, so you are completely wrong in this case. This discussion does not belong in this forum ... take it to the other forum.
Nice to know we have an English major on the board. Good catch on the typo, it is evident that you took many high level writing classes.wheh???

So it seems youre trying to be clever here, but your take is pretty silly. Im aware oxygen molecules are smaller than covid. That doesnt mean wearing a mask doesnt restrict oxygen. Since you believe in science so much, how about we test the hypothesis. get a mask, and sprint 100 yards. then do it without a mask. Tell me the mask doesnt restrict oxygen. A mask can both restrict oxygen, and protect against covid. Its also not clear HOW well it protects you.Nice to know we have an English major on the board. Good catch on the typo, it is evident that you took many high level writing classes.
It is also evident that you never took a biology or chemistry class because you clearly do not have any understanding of the size of an oxygen molecule compared to a cell. If you believe a cloth mask is not able to stop a coronavirus cell, it certainly will not restrict the flow of oxygen.
Maybe it is best to leave the science talk to people who know a bit more about the topic than you do, such as doctors or the average 10th grader.
To make sure this is about Purdue, and Purdue basketball ( ), not long ago we had some video of Jameel Brown (prior to de-commit?) playing, and PA was (is?) requiring athletes to wear masks. I believe there was a discussion at that time, but might be incorrect about that detail.Nice to know we have an English major on the board. Covid is spread primarily through inhalation of respiratory droplets not vapors. Your video doesn’t address this and only proves that oxygen can get through the mask that you claim is restricting air flow.To make sure this is about Purdue, and Purdue basketball ( ), not long ago we had some video of Jameel Brown (prior to de-commit?) playing, and PA was (is?) requiring athletes to wear masks. Masks certainly do restrict the flow of air into the airways. It's a cloth. In my rather ignorant station in life, I certainly recognize that any obstruction of the face will ... uh ... er ..."obstruct".
Since I received the smug, "you're clearly not smart enough to talk about science", here's some info from a real ... "scientist"...
Clearly, the molecules to do not pass through the mask. In my rather uneducated state, it seems rather... "logical" ... that if vapors will go around the mask on the way out, the mask really isn't permitting air/oxygen to come through the mask on the way in.
