Bossi was at the game last week in MN between Holmgren and Heide. Maybe he is hearing a lean toward us for Heide with people there on the ground.
Old? Im 33. Old to a teenager perhaps. What kind of retort is "old ass" Dude if you think athletes sprinting down the floor should be wearing a masks, I think you're fool. Why dont you see it at the colegiate level, or professional level? If you wear it on the sideline thats totally different.
Wearing a mask while playing basketball is far more unhealthy than getting covid to a high schooler. Far more unhealthy.
I get a "local" news feed out of southeast MO. While masks are not required for MO HS basketball apparently some schools have chosen to mandate them. Informal observation indicates that teams with masks lose most games to teams without masks. I haven't determined yet whether this is due to mask wearing or the mask wearing teams would suck even if not wearing masks.
College and pro teams have way more resources to manage it and they are less likely to take it home and kill their parents or grandparents by spreading it without knowing. High school students don’t get tested constantly either. Might as well play it safe. They could wear goddamn sockhats on the court and I wouldn’t care.
Settle down. It’s dumb to wear a mask while playing basketball where you are breathing heavy. A lot of the pictures I’ve seen guys have them pulled down anyways. So there’s really no point.
Yea but a lot of them do keep them up. I think it’s dumb to complain about them wearing them in the middle of a pandemic. Most college athletes practice in them and that includes cross country athletes.
People forget how smart COVID is.
Smart, and apparently a nocturnal alcoholic respiratory virus. (No alcohol sales after 10pm; Bars closed after 10pm.; No travel after 10pm.)
Gotta have restrictions like this, to keep this dangerous pandemic in check. Otherwise, people will murder their parents and grandparents.
I was watching a very recent HS basketball game. The coach wore a mask during action. During a time out, the team circled around for those crucial pearls of wisdom every coach offers during timeouts. The coach pulled down his mask and gave the troops their orders. In a close group. But, at least they didn't murder the old folks.
I'm sitting here in St. Maarten and met a gentleman who went to Purdue at the jewelry store. Works for his family...what a life to live down here. Just beautiful....
Don't you also think it's dumb that they aren't social distancing? That's just as important, if not more, than wearing a mask.
Looks like Minnesota and Arizona are the main competition now...

Is CJB taking a look at Mr. Heide as well? Pretty impressive move stiff-arming the corner without breaking stride near midfield...err....court.
This young man can play and has some skills with a little bit of a good edge.....would fit in well if the Boilers are fortunate enough to land him. JMHO
Really like this kid, his shot is actually better than I had thought(or at least watched previously). The current true freshmen class is obviously very good, as is the '21 class. The '22 class is also going to be strong. At this point Painter and staff are reloading and adding pieces.
A good mix of outside shooting and driving athletic ability. Similar to Weiskamp. Definitely a good get if we can land him.Is CJB taking a look at Mr. Heide as well? Pretty impressive move stiff-arming the corner without breaking stride near midfield...err....court.

Great reading these highlights:
The Purdue commit had eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. The mere threat of him, particularly against EA’s swarming half-court defense, opens space for others.
Brown, the Fords’ outstanding junior and a Purdue recruit, went shot-for-shot with Longino, scoring 29 points that included a couple of massively clutch 3-pointers from long range in the fourth quarter and extra time.

Wearing a mask during exercise is just plain dumb. Mandating masks during exercise is moronic.

Sounds like a perfect fit for Painter's system at Big-Man U.
Obviously the institutions of higher learning agree with this.
But fear causes panic and panic causes irrational responses. You would think that after a year of this virus, with everything we now know, the fear would have subsided to the point where the panic has stopped.
2 more scholarships. Hope that happens and we get both! I would be ecstatic if we could get 1 of the 2.
I think we are still in the mix for SF Alex Karaban. Maybe depends on where Heide decides to go.
