They pull in at least $5.5M from gate revenue alone each home game. Purdue can say it all they like, but for Michigan, money is truly no object.
I remember thinking Saban wasn't worth what Bama offered him... well, he is. So is Meyer and so is Harbaugh.
Money well spent and they will easily turn a big profit with a winning team on the field, a full Big House and all the items most fans spend addition $ on such as souvenirs, food, parking, programs, etc
I thought the contract structure was innovative with the utilization of the life insurance to recoup it's $2m annual cost.
