Reactions: Heads up BOILER

Thomas Sowell in his "A Conflict Of Visions" written many years ago has traced back over 200 years

a common theme in the unconstrained (progressives 😂) approach to things not working out for them. Typically, since they put the most faith in in individual (rather than understanding that everyone has an island of knowledge and although some islands are larger than others...all are dwarfed by the sea (ignorance), they tend to believe it was poor leadership rather than policies. What are we seeing now relative to this concerning the election? ;)

BTW...any media talking about the missing 15 million votes and a return to the typical vote count? ;)

Pollsters decent job....

On gauging the support for Harris. LOL. The NYT poll was dead on(within ~1.5%) in EVERY swing state...although high in most. Sometimes as close as .2%.

But told you folks the NYT pollsters were lying & not accurate about the support for Trump.

Many here argued I was wrong. Many folks nationwide on the D side even thought, and said on air it would be a blowout win for K2.

So it's either lying, or let's be nice and just say "under polling"......... your choice. But when they do it on every election, Senate or Pres. on R candidates....you get a pattern of deceit imo.

In the swing states they under polled Trump by as much as ....
5.1% in NC
4.6% in NV
All others - all under polled by ~ 2.5%

Perhaps they can fall back and say many were in the margin of error. Funny how none were "over polling" in the margin of error. ALL said consistently he had less support than what he did.

And not just on Trump.

Some of the Senate polls in the swing states were MUCH WORSE. Some even said D blowouts of 4-12% early on. But ALL 7 ended up being extremely close. ALL swing state R Senate candidates again being under polled.

Many pollsters it seems are like our media. Trying to SHAPE an opinion, instead of simply reporting what is the TRUTH out there.

Boilers in the NFL

Here’s a thread about something positive - former Boilers in the NFL! It seems like a few years ago there were weekly threads like this so you could keep up with former players.

I’ll start it out with this - how about Tyrone Tracy Jr. who just had his 3rd 100+ rushing game! (I know his success has been mentioned in other threads but I thought that would be a great one to kick off a broader topic).

Yell “FIRE!” in the crowded complex, then open the doors

First, Bobo must gogo. He hired Brohm knowing one day he’d bolt to his precious hometown alma mater, yet he still awarded him sweet moving deals. Then, when he did bolt, Bobo’s big plan was to wait over a week to hire yet another guy with no ties to Purdue but who also had never been a head coach anywhere in his life, granting him on-the-job training in the Big Ten in one of its toughest positions.

At least Bobo was able to give his own alma mater a nice 66-7 win. Take the tapes. And before the door hits him on the ass, boot the half-dozen stuffed suits Bobo hired to do Morgan Burke’s job, despite inheriting upgraded facilities in all sports, the winningest coaches in four of the five major programs and rich TV deals. Fourteen hold “athletics director” titles at Purdue. Only four were Boilermakers. Money can’t buy love and devotion.

Then hold the door open for Walters and his staff, too. The kids who stay can call plays on their own, since they really couldn’t do worse. More on-the-job training. Resume building. Of course, we can wait until the season is over, if it isn’t already, while having to watch a lot more of the same.

Meanwhile, the new AD, Calvin Williams, will support a fellow worthy alumnus. Just as I suggested when Brohm abandoned Purdue, Kevin Sumlin is a proven program builder and successful head coach (95-63) who won’t screw Purdue for some bullshit place because this is where he started and where he’d stay devoted. He’s a winner with state and national connections, and he’s a Boilermaker.

For those who think outsiders do Purdue any favors, just look at the scoreboard.
