Fire Matt Painter Petition...

First of all, I went to Purdue when Painter played. I like him as a person and I think he a good regular season coach, but not many people outside of the Midwest care much about BIG titles and certainly not the national media calling Purdue the "Choke Artist Program of the Decade" etc...
College basketball is all about March and us losing to North Texas (#13), St. Peters (#15), Fairleigh Dickinson (#16) along with Little Rock etc. are not acceptable for program like Purdue.

The head coach is the CEO of their program, so when you have failed on the biggest stage you should be accountable for his failure.
I think Painter has become too comfortable, too stubborn and too rigid for the good of Purdue.
So with this petition, this is your chance to voice your displeasure with Matt Painter.
This might not get him fired but it should be put him on notice to at the very least to make major changes if he wants keep his job.

Long Term Care Insurance

Several years ago my financial advisor got me to purchase a Long Term Care policy for my wife (she's currently 57 and healthy)
It has always been a bit expensive, but yesterday's mail had the new annual premium indicating it is increasing from $3100 to $7800.

Is this corporate greed, inflation, or an indication of an inept company trying to claw back profits from a disastrous offering?

I'm probably in the hole $30k, but I'm having a hard time continuing this money pit. What would you do?

Purdue football Card-Edrine connection poised to be a special one for Purdue offense

A weekly Sunday evening throwing session between quarterback and receiver this off-season gives the Hudson Card-Jahmal Edrine connection the potential to be a special one for #Purdue this fall.

Amping up the schedule

Seems like there is a determined effort to amp up the pre-Big 10(ish) schedule the past few years. Our ability to compete with anyone makes it a bit of a no brainer from our end. But wondering if it's our "newly ordained" status as a "contender" that has OTHER teams wanting to play us too. more now than when we were the perennial underdog that thrived on beating up higher ranked teams. (no win situation for them)
Or maybe it's just timing. ???

1.1 million names removed from voter roles in Texas (surprised this hasn't already been mentioned)

Of course this is but another dot many of us already knew that was in play, but denied by the gullible. Unfortunately, there are other states with the same problem and won't confront it. Not quite half were dead people and we know how they vote. BTW, did you know in spite of the fraud that has been found we were assured it was not in play while the dems fight against a secure election....just like they run cover for Kamala...they like people in the dark...

Get ready for more conference realignment in six months

Here is a prediction from Dennis Dodd, a reliable source who usually cites insider info rather than grapevine rumors:

  • Dennis Dodd: In February, ESPN will exercise its option not to extend the ACC contract beyond 2027. Florida State -- having played the long game -- will have its out and be able to put itself on the market. FSU will do so at a much reduced rate to get out of the grant of rights since it will only have three years to run. Don't ask me where FSU goes, but if it is as free agent beginning in 2028, there will be Power Four interest. Basically, the next round of major realignment begins less than a month after the 2025 championship game. Buckle up.
