Voting for traits....my beliefs

  1. Anyone who votes for someone because of their skin color is an idiot and a racist.
  2. Anyone who votes for someone because of their sex is an idiot.
  3. Anyone who votes for someone because of their ethnicity is an idiot.

  • Vote for the best candidate who's going to do the best job for everyone that lives in this great country.
  • Vote with intelligence, not because someone is a Demo./Lib or a Conservative not because they're promising stuff you know in your heart they can't deliver.
  • And the most important...Vote for someone that will at least talk about balancing the budget which will be 40 trillion by election day, a debt that will stifle your kids, your grand-kids, and their kids. most of which is owed to the Chinese virus folks.

I’ll let the USAToday article do the talking

To prove fealty to Kamala Harris, the media gaslights voters by rewriting her past

Ohio audit showed nearly 500 noncitizens registered to vote.

I thought someone here said illegals wouldn't try to vote? Here we had nearly 500 illegals ready to do so among a large purge of non eligible registrations.

I hope those 500 who broke the law getting here, and then trying to vote on top of that are among the first deportees under the next administration.

Purdue football 26 Days to Purdue Football: Andrew Sowinski

USATSI_19560565.jpg
Andrew Sowinski - Sr.
Indianapolis, IN (Chatard HS)
6', 205 pounds
Wide Reeciver
2024 Projection: Possible Starter

Purdue may not have an Anthrop on the roster anymore, but they have an Anthrop-like player in Sowinski. He came to Purdue from Catholic powerhouse Chatard in Indianapolis, where he had an excellent career with 64 receptions for 1,055 yards and 22 touhdowns as a senior in helping Chatard win its 14th state championship.

Still, he had to earn his way to the field as a walk-on, and that's exactly what he has done. He saw his first career action as a redshirt freshman in 2021 where he caught two passes in the blowout at UConn. That led to a larger role in 2022, where he played in 12 games and even made four starts. He finished the season with 9 catches for 96 yards and he served as both a kickoff and punt returner. Last season he had just three catches for 29 yards, but he did catch a two-point conversion at Nebraska.

Sowinski is a lunch pail receiver. He has good speed and he has earned his way by running crisp routes with good hands. I look for him to have a big year in the slot in 2024, and because he was on the roster in 2020 I believe he could technically return in 2025 for his COVID year if he chose.

Purdue football Klare feels stronger despite coming off injury

An ankle issue halted Max Klare’s breakout campaign last season, but the talented tight end feels improved heading into 2024 despite the injury.

Difference in current football practice video interviews

I just watched two different press conference interviews with Graham Harrell after this summer's second practice. As in the past, there is a night and day difference between them Have a look at the quality professional Gold and Black video- Login to view embedded media and then watch the Boiler Upload amateur one- Login to view embedded media . Such a world of difference. In the better one all questions can be clearly heard and there is minimal background noise. This is probably because of the use of better audio equipment, and also where the person making the recording stands, with standing to the speaker's right minimizing background noise. And filming from the side instead of the front should be an obviously seen problem.

Purdue roster/game details from 50/51 or 54/55?

Looking for a friend who's dad played for Crown Point HS, got a schollie offer for Washington but walked on at Purdue. He can't remember if he played just out of HS or after he got back from Korea, I'm thinking the latter. He was talking to one of his uncles this last week who remembers seeing him play in a BT game on TV, so I'd assume he made the roster at some point...or did walk ons play back then? Only there a year and a half (so 2 football seasons) before he had to go back home and take care of the family business. I'm Googling but not finding what I'm looking for. any help would be appreciated.

29, 28, and 27 Days to Purdue Football: Earl Kulp, Addai Lewellen, Zeke Williams

It has been a busy weekend, so I am a bit behind on posting these, but I wanted to get at least something up for #29 Earl Kulp, #28 Addai Llewellan, and #27 Zeke WIlliams.

Earl Kulp - Fr.
Fort Lauderdale, FL (St. Thomas Aquinas HS)
6', 187 pounds
Defensive Back
2024 Projection: Likely redshirt

Because of the depth Purdue has in the defensive backfield Kulp looks like a redshirt, but his background as a champion might help him see the field faster. He comes from national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale. He won three state championships there and he won a fourth state championship as a freshman with Miami Central. That experience should prepare him well for the college game. He is already used to playing against some of the best of the best with the schedule STA plays.

Addai Lewellen - Jr.
Royal Center, IN (Pioneer HS)
5'8", 181 pounds
Running Back
2024 Projection: Reserve

Lewellen has already seen some very limited action as a walkon. He had one carry for seven yards late in the Citrus Bowl loss to LSU and a single carry late last year in the loss to Ohio State. His trip to Big Ten football as a walk-on has been a long one. At age 5 he and his twin brother, Ezra, were adopted from Liberia by a couple from the small town of Royal Center. His birth name is Lakpyee, but he was renamed Addai after Colts running back Joseph Addai (who ironically played in college at LSU, the team Addai got his first carry against).

Addai was a freshman in 2018 when Pioneer went 15-0 and won the Class A state title for a second straight year behind Notre Dame linebacker Jack Kiser. He also played basketball and ran track for Pioneer. In football he ran for 2,768 yards and 45 touchdowns in four years, with his best season coming in 2019 as Pioneer reached the semi-state in Class 2A. His brother Ezra is also a college athlete running track at Purdue-Fort Wayne.

Zeke Williams - So.
Naperville, IL (Northern Illinois University)
5'10", 190 pounds
Defensive Back
2024 Projection: Reserve

Williams made his Purdue debut last season, playing briefly in the Indiana game. Before that he spent a year at Northern Illinois. He was also a high school teammate of freshman DB Luke Pettaway. His younger brother Luke is also on the roster this year, as he was part of the incoming 2024 recruiting class.

In high school he played both ways with 43 receptions for 438 yards and three touchdowns as senior. He also served as a kickoff returner and played basketball.
