That's the biggest thing I see. Lack of discipline, especially biting on the read option and not following the ball. Our DBs are also really back tacklers. We had that problem last year and it should have been corrected.

I missed the kickoff that did not get covered

to me, it looked like it got hung up in the wind, actually a mis-kick be the kicker, and by the time the return man realized, it was too late. Then, it took a weird bounce backward, instead of forward towards the return man. Really weird play.
BUT....the up men need to recognize this and call for a fair catch instead of not even looking to see if the ball is going over their heads. That's coaching.

When I've watched him, I've thought he looked quicker than most 7 footers, or at least as coordinated. Granted, that's all relative, but I thought he was comparable to Edey, maybe not as quick at Haarms, definitely more speed and agility than Haas.

I don't know if they currently are, but FEMA did divert a ton of money to illegal immigrants for quite a while.

I think Katlaftis is an undersized DE and not a LB. He’s just a tweener. Another guy the staff is asking to do too much in a bad system.

It’s like you shitting on Cam Allen last year. Guy had been crazy productive for us and then this crazy system comes along and asks him to do something he can’t and shouldn’t. That’s not really his fault. He’d have never come to Purdue to play in this defense. He stuck it out because he loved Purdue and now he’s your poster child for failure even though he was a good defender for multiple years for us.

Are you starting to see it now? What good coaches do vs bad? Scheme and use the talent you have? Develop the guys who you do have into better players? The way you worship Purdue coaches you never watched and hate the ones who came here and did well while you (pa)trolled the message board with meaningless PFF stats is truly hilarious. It suggests you have no clue what you are seeing so you need a crutch!

I’ve been right about the past 3 coaches and why they would fail or succeed. My hit rate is great. Yours looks like ours trying to find a good coach! Lacking!

The start of the video had the black team as Beard, Fletch, Harris, TKR and Berg so seems like that line up is at least being tested.

Assuming video was correct to time, appearred that the grey shirts were giving it to the black shirts at the start then CJ started turning the ball over and Braden hit shots to bring the black shirts back. I know I am reading way too much into video haha just pumped for season!
