Moving on to Marshall

Things I want to start seeing from Colvin and Heide - getting downhill. One of the plays against Marquette, Colvin had an angle on the forward who was guarding him and instead of turning the corner and taking it to the rim, he was looking to pass. Not sure why either of those guys is scared of dribbling. I also think Colvin is one we should run action for the get him mismatches where he can use his size against smaller guards.

I want to see Gicarri be more aggressive in the offense and not just a ballhandler. He needs to find his place in the offense otherwise we are basically 4v5 on offense.

Purdue at Michigan State: MASTER DISCUSSION THREAD

It's unfortunate that I'm able to see these final slaughters on TV. Nothing like watching someone run through the whole Purdue defense untouched for long TD after long TD. What games to nationally televise. I guess it's time to put my Purdue flag out and hope for a win. Boiler up, I think that I'll need several Boilermakers.
I'll be indulging myself esp after taking care of the 7 in of snow today

Shaka

I wasn't comparing Shaka and Painters tourney resumes.
2 things can be true at the same time: 1) Until last year, Painter's teams severely underachieved in the tourney and 2) Shaka and Painter have been to the same number of FF in their careers.
Painter has made it to the championship game, something Shaka has never done, and frankly don't really ever see Shaka doing it. His tourney wins are very few.

Why Trump Needs to Drain the Swamp

The black women that Biden considered and ultimately chose, the qualifications that pre-seeded them were outstanding particularly compared to the predecessors.
I didn't say they weren't qualified and they may indeed have been "outstanding" but Brown was clearly a DEI hire. Biden announced he would consider no one other than a black woman for the job. That's a DEI hire. Period. Squeal and distort and evade all you wish. That doesn't change the fact that this was a DEI hire.

Linda McMahon: So being co-CEO of a wrastling federation qualifies you for Secretary of Education

Just sit back, enjoy the meltdowns. I mean, you can probably instigate, which is always fun to do to a lefty lib, but perhaps discretion is the better part of valor. As they say, speak softly but carry a big stick.
Between me opining that Vince McMahon also deserves a Cabinet spot, and then rooting heartily for both Army and Ohio State, I might end up irritating just about everyone.

Why Trump Needs to Drain the Swamp

Please don't play dumb on this. Biden announced that he would pick a black VP BEFORE he chose one. That's the difference. He did the same thing with Justice Ketanji Brown. Biden announced he would pick a black woman BEFORE he chose Brown. In both cases, being a black woman was a prerequisite for the job.

The black women that Biden considered and ultimately chose, the qualifications that pre-seeded them were outstanding particularly compared to the predecessors.

Great loss

8 fouls to 2 with 13 min to go. Hall of calls bailed out IU.

But as a fan, there’s not much difference to this team than Woodsons past ones. Guys can’t shoot, not a lot of 3s taken (or made), give up too many 3s to other team, can’t rebound. If IU runs into a team that can actually shoot the ball, they’re in trouble. But please continue to tell us how we should be be “shredding” our team, who is the second youngest in the big ten, who just lost on the road to what will be a top 10 team. The game was close until about 11 min left when Marquette went on a run and closed it out.

IU on the other hand is tied 40-40 with 12 min to go to …UNC Greensboro who is the 4th team in a row that is not on the same level skill wise or height wise and shooting poorly from 3. Lol
It’s really difficult to tell how good or bad IU really is with how bad their schedule is. That team they played last night was horrible and IU still struggled to finish them off. Could be a tough year for them and their mercenaries.

As much as I dont want to talk about Indiana....

In a weird way, perhaps Purdue sucking keeps iu out of the playoff:
Here's how: iu gets smoked by OSU 45-10. Purdue takes a 31-7 beating at MSU.
PU comes to iu at 1-10, one of the worst teams in P5 to add on to iu's already crap SOS.
Maybe is makes the Purdue game irrelevant to iu? If iu loses. obviously they're out. If iu spanks Purdue, well, big deal, congrats on beating another bad team with your bad SOS.
This IU team does not and will not get blown out by anyone. This coaching staff, sure all JMU but the OL coach, and players are use to winning. They have won 24 of their last 25 games and I don't care where they came from. If this was the type of team that is going to or was going to get blown out ... down faster than ever 10-0 on the road at MSU ... would have been the time. Not playing well, dropped passes they normally catch in the scUM game ... past IU teams would have folded and lost. This team and coaches mentally are nothing like past IU teams.

You are right though, no matter how much IU beats Purdue .. it will not matter to the committee ... OSU game is the deciding factor for them to decide and the only other way for them to blow it is to lose the Purdue game.

Purdue's SoS is 7.
You list Purdue's SoS is 7 ... you know why? It is the same reason that IU's USE BE SO LOW ... because they couldn't win a game and most of their opponents in the B1G East were OSU, scUM, PSU and MSU whom they played annually.

Speculation from Spartanwire.

Purdue will need a miracle to beat iu. Stranger things have happened and you never know with a rivalry game.
But, I suspect this is the year for iu to take out many years of frustration and try to get some attention from the playoff committee by hanging 70+ on Purdue.
The good part is, and embarrassing defeat to iu might force MBob to make the call.
As you know the roles have been reversed over the years (more for Purude) and there were times as an IU grad/fan I was hoping for Purdue to do the same, to help in a coaching change. I know the feeling.

Should teachers be allowed to put the alphabet soup flag in their classrooms?
I don't believe teachers should promote any political or religious beliefs in the classroom. I assume the alphabet soup flag refers to something LGBTQ. Lifestyles shouldn't be promoted either.

A good teacher should promote intelligent and respectful debate on such topics while taking no positions on them. I'm good with that. Many people aren't, on both sides of the aisle.
