I was a little pissed off after the play though because they got the clock wrong. He blocked it at 5, then caught it out of bounds. Clock should have been at 4, but they put it at 20. Pretty sure Ole Miss scored or got fouled on the subsequent play.
Thought the exact same. There was no circumstance where it should have been reset to 20. Either Heide had possession and then turned it over by stepping out of bounds which would cause the clock to be reset to 30 or Heide never had possession and the clock should have stayed where it was, 4 or 5 secs. The ball clearly didn't hit the rim so it can't be reset in that case either. The refs even stopped play to relook at the play and still got it wrong. It never fails to blow me away 3 "professionals" can have multiple looks and times to get a call right on one single situation and still screw it up. Unbelievable
While I agree there were a few "fans" here that freaked out a bit.......the vast majority made great posts and cheered in the Boilers on during the game.
At least they were here during the game. Some weren't, and come afterwards to judge.
Me ......I am pretty proud of our fan base as a whole, and even more proud of the great game the Boilers had to win the championship. Well done!
Colvin and Heidi are in real danger of becoming complete players. Defending, rebounding and of course scoring. Hope they continue to improve as the season goes on.
