He's done most of that in regular time. The team sucking doesn't take away from the fact he can shoot. That's just what he's good at. It just happens to be the only thing he's good at.
Yea he struggled in 3 games before today. Good job cherry picking. On the entire year he's shooting 51.6% from 3. That's good. Against the P4 competition and Gonzaga he's shooting 44.5%. Against Louisville and Gonzaga he was 4-9(44.4%). So yea, good job cherry picking.
Oh he's a terrible defender. But you can deny he's a good 3pt shooter. Right now on the season he's shooting in the 50/50/90 club. And I'll take that. That's progress of some sort over last year. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have a coach that knows how to take advantage of that.
Bruh, Mgbako is an average player. He isn’t good vs good competition when it matters. You know this. He’s below average on defense as well…little to no effort. We can pull up that play from X showing his effort. He’s just mid. It’s ok for an IU fan to admit their own player isn’t that good.
