Even money on my site. Crazy how volatile these odds are. Similar to the Heisman in many years (not this year).
Players can still sign with new schools after the portal closes they just have to have their name entered in before the deadline closes. Looks like they have a handful of guys visiting after the new year so a lot can change in the next few weeks before the semester starts.Portal has closed now until April, so I guess we really will not know who we are going to have on this team until late Spring. Should make for interesting Spring practices this year.
So because a team loses to another, they should automatically be behind them? I mean if SDSU loses a game this week, which is possible as they play at Boise State, then they'll drop. Or if someone behind is just much more impressive. Like if Illinois were to win at Oregon for example.Agree that it’s probably splitting hairs. I just don’t see how you put a three loss SDSU team in if you’re excluding the four loss Gonzaga team that beat them.
Disappointing that only 18 are in the portal.Tennessee has 17 player in the portal. WSU has 30 in as well. They make Purdue’s 18 not look so bad...
I don't think they are the same type of player, I do think right now they are providing the same type of results, not much.To me, Colvin and Heide are the same type of player, with providing the same type of results, across the last few games. Split them up, one starts and one subs. Replacing the one starter, I’d start any of Cox, Harris, Burgess or Furst, depending on matchups. Can’t continue to play 3 on 5.
Isn't it just closed for entering it? Surely not everyone in the portal has found a home yet.Portal has closed now until April, so I guess we really will not know who we are going to have on this team until late Spring. Should make for interesting Spring practices this year.
I would have argued with you earlier on, but why not try this? I guess we will see how conf play is and how they do there but if same results happen and we don’t win, then yeah, gotta think you need to switch some things up.To me, Colvin and Heide are the same type of player, with providing the same type of results, across the last few games. There's another baseball field bowl in crappy weather country besides this one. Think I've mentioned it before, if you're going to have those, Wrigley might as well throw their hat into the ring. Sure crime, sure, bad weather, but Wrigleyville makes the sell unique, plus you don't have as many seats you have to sell. This is all based on the idea that these bowls keep going moving forward, which looks pretty iffy. If the rest of broadcast (and a lot of streaming) didn't suck so bad, I'd say it'd be a lock, but the bowls do give people something to put on as background noise during the holiday, and that's worth some $$$ to some station or streamer.
Can’t pass the class with D/F, good assessment teacherWith last night's game in the rear view, lets see how we fared against your must-have list (a good list, btw!)
-Colvin/Heide: [Grade: F] Oof. More of the same with lots of 0's in the final box. Both guys have mysteriously lost their confidence, and by the end of the game were complete afterthoughts.
- Cox/Smith combo: [Grade B-] We ran a lineup with this combo for a few minutes, and it seemed to be clicking. Cox was the first guy to score other than the big 3, and he did some other good things too. Solid D, steady ball handling, and even led a fast break finding Smith on the wing for a transition 3. Not sure why Paint didn't run with this lineup more.
- Smith looking for his shot: [Grade A] Check. In spades.
- Burgess emerge: [Grade C] He had some good (and necessary) PT. Still learning through some freshman mistakes, but I like his fight. He keeps coming back and doesn't hang his head. Good competitor. Will some of the kinks be ironed out by season's end? It's trending that way.
TKR free throws: [Grade D] Shot 1-4 today. Took a step backwards. This has to be remedied or teams may start playing hack-a-Tre if he doesn't improve.
-Caleb blossom: [Grade B] I've been one of his biggest critics this year, but I thought he had a nice game last night. His effort on the glass was particularly solid, and he is playing with more confidence and physicality under the rim. Free throw shooting is improved too, which is nice to see.
All in all, not bad. I think our greatest need at this point is for Heide to become more comfortable in his role at the 4. If that doesn't happen, a TKR - Furst front line is our next best option. I would like to see Harris replace Colvin in the starting lineup. He seems to understand his role better and his confidence is soaring. Also need to get Berg healthy and available for spot play against larger teams, too.
Dude, your memory is all jacked up. Obama did save the auto industry that Mitt Romney wanted to fail. The auto industry was all jacked up in 2009. The US loaned GM and Chrysler money in which they paid back with interest. When it was all said and done, GM came out as the leader in auto sales.
As Obama Takes Victory Lap Over Auto Industry Rescue, Here Are The Lessons Of The Bailout
Free marketeers and free traders who like to stand on principle will never be convinced that the U.S. Treasury’s bailout of the U.S. auto industry was sound fiscal policy. But there are about 7.25 million workers either in or supported by the auto industry who are grateful for the stability that...www.forbes.com
The Obama auto bailout actually saved US jobs.
Blacks did quite well under Obama. A lot of blacks work at the aforementioned auto manufacturing plants that Obama saved. Many blacks also worked at GM, for example, which shuttered Hummer, Pontiac, Saturn and Saab along with Oldsmobile. I was an engineer with GM at that time and saw unemployment increase at these plants.
Agree that it’s probably splitting hairs. I just don’t see how you put a three loss SDSU team in if you’re excluding the four loss Gonzaga team that beat them.Gonzaga has dropped 4 games now. To good teams, but you're not gonna convince me you belong in the Top 25 as of right now at 8-4. Same goes for Purdue. Do I believe Gonzaga, Purdue or even Houston are Top 25 type teams? Absolutely. They just have to win their way back in. SDSU is a pretty good team. I don't think there is a wrong choice at 25 between SDSU, Michigan, Illinois, Houston, Gonzaga and others. It's a pretty tight area when you're sitting around there. Makes for a fun year.

Oldsmobile, Pontiac both lost at GM at the directive of Mao. With Ford, with Daimler/Chrysler they all lost jobs. Maobama was not an icon of saving jobs, but of selective elimination of jobs. How did black folk do under Mao vs. under President Donald J. Trump? And why did DJT get elected with the help of more blacks and minorities than any GOP candidate before?

Nice seeing a Raiders win, and their tight end, Brock Bowers, set some NFL records.1st NFL TD catch (regular season. Congrats
O'connell with a good performance as well and the win.
Probably has to if she wants to stay in power and alive.Allegedly, she sides with the cartels and this was a deal cut with them.
Wasnt suggesting letting him go that early but the bye week he could have and maybe should have.Bobo allowed Ryan to paint him into a corner by Ryan being the only "Qualified " person to run the program after Harrell was fired... If things weren't bad enough, they would have gotten worse if Ryan had been fired after the ND game.
Ryan made sure that he was the only Alpha coach, and it really cost him big time in several ways.....
Allegedly, she sides with the cartels and this was a deal cut with them.Did you READ the first two sentences of the link that I posted? This is the LA Times talking, not Trump:
"In recent days, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has touted her country’s largest-ever seizure of fentanyl and highlighted multiple crackdowns on migrants headed toward the United States.
"She was speaking to the press, but her most important audience is U.S. President-elect Donald Trump."

Other than NW Indiana there are steel companies near Fort Wayne, Crawfordsville, New Carlisle, and near Evansville.
President Obama added thousands of jobs in the US way before Chump’s tariffs. He saved the auto industry which in turn saved the US steel industry.
If the tariff article that you posted was supposed to prove your point that tariffs are good, you failed miserably. The article clearly states the following.
I do remember that Chump's tariffs specifically hurt the US farm industry, particularly corn and soybeans.
- American firms and consumers paid the vast majority of the cost of Trump’s tariffs.
- While tariffs benefited some workers in import-competing industries, they hurt workers in sectors that rely on imported inputs and those in exporting industries facing retaliation from trade partners.
- Trump’s tariffs did not help the U.S. negotiate better trade agreements or significantly improve national security
Fire Brohm!!1st NFL TD catch (regular season. Congrats
