J6 Bombshell: Trump Didn't Just Offer Military to Protect Capitol, He Ordered It but Was Disobeyed

“I assure you: Trump, with his character, with his persistence, he will restore order there quite quickly. And all of them, you will see — it will happen quickly, soon — they will all stand at the feet of the master and will wag their tails a little. Everything will fall into place.”

Lawmakers in Mississippi are proposing a new bill that will reward bounty hunters for catching illegals!

A 93% drop in border crossings would have minimal effect? What? Explain yourself, if you can.
I can.

The goal is to reduce illegal immigration, especially from those that are national security or criminal threats.

Those 'tunnel under the Rio Grande' border crossings are a drop in the bucket of the entirety of illegal immigration.

I think it's great we're getting drugs and criminals out of the country. Have said anything different? Just taking liberties with the truth again?

Explain why we are getting taken advantage of in trade by Mexico and Canada when trump said he fixed NAFTA and solved the problems.
He’s getting a lot a lot of things fixed in a couple weeks. He was left with a big mess and it’s getting done. Don’t know why you selectively pick on things when he’s making great inroads to improve the lives of Americans and making the country safer.

DOGE has already cancelled over $1 BILLION in government DEI contracts.

Been a while, but found the following and it may have been as simple as Stutzman's better understanding of the crisis at the border which for years I've had a concern.

"Young's victory is significant for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

CNN reports that McConnell's super PAC, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, pumped money into the Indiana race in a bid to defeat Stutzman, who McConnell fears is a second coming of Cruz, and another threat to his authority.

Stutzman has been a leader of the Tea Party in the House since he joined Congress."

"Young introduced himself to voters with his service in the military. Stutzman described himself as a small business owner.

Both men said they would repeal the Affordable Care Act. Both anti-abortion conservatives expressed a commitment to protecting the unborn.

Stutzman says the U.S. should build a wall on the country's border with Mexico.

"I believe that we have other issues just besides economic issues at the border," Stutzman said. "We have human trafficking, we have drug trafficking problems, and all of these are hitting our country in a dramatic way. I believe we have to know who's coming in and out of this country."

When asked if he agrees, Young didn't answer directly.

"It's going to take an amalgam of different factors I learned from my time in the U.S. Marine Corps, but it is essential during a time of war that we continue to keep that southern border safe from terrorists coming in," he said.

When asked about the country's spending on defense, both point to conservative budgets. Stutzman says he'd make sure military spending is as its highest point. Young says he'd support additional funding for next-generation equipment.

Both men claimed victory in the debate. Whose message resonates with voters remains to be seen on May 3."
Appreciate that - it's a good description of actual words from the candidates at the time

FWIW, when Young stated "It's going to take an amalgam of different factors I learned from my time in the U.S. Marine Corps, but it is essential during a time of war that we continue to keep that southern border safe from terrorists coming in," in my opinion he was spot on.

Because the vast majority of illegal immigrants don't get into the US by swimming, tunneling, or walking into the US. Unless you'd like to cancel all tourist and family visitation visas it's going to take an amalgam of different factors to improve the situation.

So you compared the statements of two candidates on improving enforcement of immigration and national security. ANSWER ME THIS, which one had a better resume for best understanding viable, logical solutions?
  • The one with
    1. no college degree whose
    2. non-government experience was as a small town farmer (an admirable profession), or
  • The one who was
    1. a cum laude graduate of the US Naval Academy, has
    2. an MBA from the University of Chicago,
    3. led a military intelligence department,
    4. has a law degree and
    5. was the head of the Federalist Society in law school,
    6. was a professor of public affairs, and
    7. worked both as a lawyer and
    8. a government service delivery improvement consultant.
For me? Todd Young not trusting Tulsi Gabbard is incredibly notable. It is generally a very good idea to trust people like Todd Young who have a resume that allows them to know what the hell they're talking about.

3 teams left standing for B1G regular season championship?

I like how Purdue has come together over the past month. I just keep reminding myself that there are 5 tough road games in February and March plus visits from UCLA and Wisconsin.

Purdue is 9-2 now but could realistically end up 14-6. And that would be very respectable.
I agree, although, IMO, going 5-4 down the stretch would be disappointing. I think that finishing 6-3 is also a realistic outcome and 7-2 is not outside the realm of possibility.

Let's just hope Gearlds creates an offense that allows Gordon and Reynolds to shine.
ROFL..... Gearlds only knows the offense she learned from Versyp. She puts in a wrinkle now and then and usually doesn't have the team hold the ball 25 seconds every possession to try and shorten the game, but its still the same high school offense we have seen for 20 years. It won't change until we get a new COMPETENT coach.

Trump explained this. He stated both Canada and Mexico were not honoring the NAFTA agreement.
Imagine that, Biden letting them run all over us.

Really sorry to see your upset about getting illegal criminals and drugs out of the country. I know your people welcomed them with open arms and care packages. There’s a new sheriff in town so grin and bear it.

POS President Chump blames DEI for plane crash

I have no idea what you said or why you said it. However, due to your confusion I'll attempt to clear your mind. Gays, lesbians, tranny's and even those that act like cats and such are "abnormal" and do a mental disorder. I'm unsure what you call a religious minority to help you with that and those that are intelligent whether colored or not are okay, and....I can correlate the shootings in Chicago with abortions in New York which the Pearson Product Correlation Moment would show.
Of course you do. You believe non heterosexuals have a mental disorder, just like Q believes.

A religious minority like Muslims.

You're ok with the "colored" people as long as they are MAGA and don't live in your neighborhood.

All those positions fit a person who would also believe women should know their place.

Clear enough?
I don't wtf your last sentence means.

Shocker - Braden Smith named Cousy Finalist

The four that stand out to me are Sears, Nembhard, Jones, and Smith with Jones and Smith probably being to top 2 in either order. I suspect that both will end up first team All American along with Flagg, Broome, and one other.
I haven't see enough of the others. Kam is certainly a great player and Sears can shoot it, but who actually represents closest to Bob Cousy's ball handling and passing if this is truly about a player most closely representing Bob Cousy? That would separate Kam from Braden. Braden's assists are also different than Kam's...much more directly leading to a basket in that he creates so much of the conditions

I'd argue Mccarthy and Puryear were on the same level strength wise heading into the season and they probably aren't far off in the weight room right now. McCarthy even had more success than Puryear did early on in the non-conference.

For me, it's more to do with Puryear's skill set, her ability to process the defense and decide what to do with the ball. Her post moves are superior to Lana, better free throw shooter. So I don't think it has to do with strength.

McCarthy is actually second on the team in turnovers per game 2.2 and she isn't even someone who handles the ball. The game is moving really fast for her right now.

I don't want this to come off like I don't want her back next season, I do and would like her to finish her career here. She just has a long way to go imo and might get passed up by Gordon coming in next season.

I hope I'm wrong and she shows some improvement down the stretch here.
I would be shocked if Gordon doesn't pass her by next year. Gordon just has a far superior physical skill set and is more prepared for college ball than McCarthy was as a freshman. If Kira is as good as some here believe, I would like to see her starting at the 4 and move Layden to the 3 spot.

Of course she's been struggling for a while - we've been playing very good teams, with good, experienced post players. It's been an absolute gauntlet. Thus why it's imperative that our recruiting picks up - the BIG is going to be on a whole other level talent wise than it's been for the last 20 years.

Puryear is improving because physically she was college ready right away. I figured she'd be the first to really round into shape. McCarthy will be a solid player for us the rest of her career - but she needs more time to develop - unfortunately we need a lot from her right now, and we aren't getting it. Thus why we are losing - and often by a lot.

KG only talks about players injuries if is she asked about it. Only time. You have to pry all of that information out of her. Other programs literally instantly do press releases about players injuries right after the news is medically confirmed. That's what I always thought was the standard before this.
