"Preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America."
Unless it's something to do with immigration of course.
I was an active duty US Army officer for 28 years. Here is the Oath of Office taken by all military members:
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and
domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
Do you understand the word "domestic"? There are some woke assclowns who have been spreading childish lies that the Constitution prohibits using US troops within the US. It does not. Think about the Civil War for a couple of seconds.
There is nothing wrong with using US soldiers to protect our southern border from illegals. In fact, how would you prefer the 82nd Airborne spend its time: guarding our southern border or hanging around Fort Bragg playing war games and drinking beer?
