Some of these posts are comical really, I just shake my head.Yeah that didn't age too well.
DickeWatching Iowa State and Kansas. Dickenson, you goon.
That would have been real smart, you’re posts are something out of a 9 year old give me my ball back variety.TKR can honestly not see a ****ing MINUTE in the 2nd half and I would be MORE THAN FINE with it
If you were Hamas, wouldn't you play the long game? They don't want to ignore Trump's words knowing that "sometime not declared" (unlike some before him) he will follow through. They know to not push the tiger and hope the people in the USA forget and vote dumb again in four years...or possibly longer. They are not in a hurry to achieve their goals and already have some kids supporting them along with some others...I too hate to be the bearer of bad news . . .the cease-fire is not going to happen on Biden's watch.
Although credit to Trump on THAT drive, "it" is not that long!Likely won't take pay again. Only President not to do so.
Assumed his duties in Nov. & has been rolling ever since. Driving theextremistleft wackos nuts as we have seen......at the capital, on the Internet, in the news and even here. It's all 100% entertaining.
Exactly. This is a great example of @typeviic swallowing the anti Israel narrative without considering all the facts. None of this would be happening if Israel wasn't attacked first and Israel has given up land on multiple occasions in the pursuit of peace.Remind me again...when was the last time Israel shot first?
But the deal did occur under Biden's watch.I too hate to be the bearer of bad news . . .the cease-fire is not going to happen on Biden's watch.
takes me back before you were born no doubt with Minnesota Fat's daughter (?) or Etta15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and a block against those Husky boys … and 5-0 as a senior starter.
I’ve argued on this board for years that all Caleb Furst needed was more minutes. Not even a Mr. Basketball can do crap in 180-second cameos. Besides, stats rarely do him justice. He’s a 6-10 dude who’s very mobile with a nice touch, quick hands and superior intelligence. His presence in the paint alone alters drives and shots, and his ability to quickly position and block out big men routinely sets up teammates for rebounds. And do take notice of his repeated flicks out to Smith for steals and rebounds. Take Buddy the Elf and Angry Elf to Rome and watch them pick pockets.
Too bad he’s too nice of a guy to tell you people who wanted him gone to stick it. Be glad he stuck.

All that is true, but his abilities matched the void in this team resulting in him and the team being improved as a result of him playing. FWIW, last year before the first game (was there an intrasquad game?) I was talking to Braden's grandfather and he was talking about Caleb getting minutes with his hustle and such, and I right or wrong, I told him he was lacking in skill...and to watch him shoot. As others have said...he knows his strengths and is playing within them and becoming the best of himself. He has been a huge boost to this team.15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and a block against those Husky boys … and 5-0 as a senior starter.

Completely agree. He and the coaches have made the game simple for him, by him just doing the dirty work. To add, he is playing with an increaed confidence level as a result of. Lastly, knowing the end of his college career is approaching, has fueled an added edge now. Go Caleb!!One thing that changed is that Furst stopped trying to be cute. He’s not trying to be a three point shooter, but has embraced his role as the physical tough guy down low. It seems to me that by embracing that role he’s been able to relax and just play. He was really finishing well last night and some of those buckets that he scored were very impressive to watch.
Basketball is such a mental game. We see it with many, if not most, players at points in their career where they get in their heads for stretches. Furst seems to now be on the other side of such a (quite long) stretch and it’s not a coincidence that Purdue is rolling.
Mono freshman year stole his powersAbout like you’d expect.
D was "improved" in second half. Had their big boy not hit some three balls and a couple of other three balls not went down Purdue would have held them to 15-20 pts at half...not that a score tells the whole story on D, but there was much more intensity all around...and Purdue started making some of those bunnies they missed in the first half. I haven't had time...and may not get time, but would like to see a couple of games close together to see some of the gambling Purdue is doing on D...which starts with Braden to see if there is any consistent time when the gambles take place or entirely left up to Braden...which it appears it is. If Purdue can grab a W at Oregon, they will be in for a great week...and a good step in the BIG. Kim went to bed at half and no doubt checked the score when she got up and so we will watch it again this evening I'm sure. Wished PSU could have got one. A couple of times PSU went zone and a player was in man and followed him along the baseline which resulted in an easy basket where he was no longer there. They had a shot, but couldn't get over the hump.Went to bed @ half, and watched second half @ 5 am. Great way to start the day.
Even better I woke up healthy with no more Flu.
D was there all game, Cox and Furst were particularly good defenders. Smith was good defender in H2.
Glad CMP found the answer to what they were doing in H1......and the kids executed his plan well. Great game by Furst. Glad to see Loyer wake up in H2.
Also great showing by Purdue faithful at Washington. Likely, Purdue engineering grads at Boeing and other Corps Love the fan presence there.

And the opinion of most who knew a lick of ball.It was coaching. Hartwig even said it was the most talented he had played with. Most of the times we got beat bad it was scheme related. That was my observation at least.
About like you’d expect. How is Morton doing?
He's not even getting paid yet....
How is Morton doing?Catchings had 3 fouls in 7 minutes of action last night. I keep track of boxscores from BYU (Catchings), Colorado State (Morton) and Duke (Gillis). Gillis had his best game last night hitting 4 3's in about 15 minutes off the bench.
Purdue definitely dodged a bullet with Catchings...I was critical of Painter not guaranteeing minutes...but now see Catchings as a disruptive cancer on any team. Until he grows up...he will not play in the NBA.
I thought that Smith’s defense in the first half was good as well and helped keep Purdue in the game. I don’t know how many of his 5 steals came in the first half, but all game he was disruptive, forcing a lot of turnovers.
You should be writing newspaper headlines.15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and a block against those Husky boys … and 5-0 as a senior starter.

believe it was a career high in points. He’s been playing excellent in 2025 so far and has been HUGE. Unfortunately for him, he was stuck behind the NPOTYx2, Gillis and TKR. His skill set was different than the latter two and just didn’t complement Zach the way they did with scoring.15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and a block against those Husky boys … and 5-0 as a senior starter.
