Don't assume anything

I wasn't touting ILL, it was to show how dramatically some teams will have altered their next season outlook vs what they had at the end of last season. "Someone" is going to be REALLY good that nobody saw coming. Hopefully it's us....
Appreciate the clarification - didn’t think you were crowning Illinois. I think Underwood has his work cut out for him to turn them into a contender. He has had a massive amount of roster turnover which makes it hard to have continuity.

Purdue to play Kentucky in an exhibition game at Rupp Arena

Okay I'll break it down once.

Indiana travels to Lexington in December.

Indiana coach Darian DeVries cleaned house. Both roster and staff, even including long standing Dr. Tim Garl. So Indiana has brought in 10 portal transfers and 1 freshman(so far). Hope it helps you.

many will not see this, but all should

A better question is, why did you say it was a flat out lie?

.

The FBI absolutely investigates human trafficking.

No law enforcement agency is supposed to ignore criminal activity, even when it’s not their primary jurisdiction.

The FBI is not an immigration enforcement agency. That’s why the troopers checked an ICE database and did not call for FBI assistance.

Good lord you get confused.

Here’s a thought— when you don’t know what you’re talking about don’t “double down on wrong.” Instead, try to learn something instead of questioning whether I know what I’m talking about.

9 man rotation prediction with minutes

Smith- 34
Cox- 24
Loyer- 30
TKR- 34
Cluff- 25

Jacobsen- 15
Mayer- 14
Harris- 16
Murphy- 8

I think it'll be close to that. Painters biggest question will be who plays the 4(in this minutes scenario I gave Murphy all 6 left and 2 at the 3). Burgess will probably grab a few minutes. He may take all 6 left. No clue. But just going with 9 guys, I think this could be how it shakes out.

Murphy having surgery?

I do anesthesia and see people come in for these type surgeries all of the time. I agree the recovery timeline seems pretty short. Most of the orthopedic surgeons will tell you shoulders can be the most difficult as far as recovery, thus my first response on this thread. Young and healthy is in his favor but still seems short to be going out and playing hard physical basketball. I’d hope painter had him evaluated before signing him and can’t believe he didn’t. Good luck to him and hopes for quick and complete healing!
Do recovery times for partial/minor tears differ significantly from full tears or are they similar?

Murphy having surgery?

Eesh. I had both of my shoulders repaired from full labrum tears (5 anchors in my right and six in my left). I had my dominant arm repaired in my mid 20s and it took a full year to recover fully with dedicated rehab. His is a partial, but wow, that recovery time sounds short. Hope it goes well for him.

There’s a lot of talent to possibly reduce Fletches PT. I think Benter, Harris, and possibly Mayer and West who could challenge for playing time. Fletch will start but i believe gives up minutes to others unless he’s on fire in a game. You likely aren’t off by much though and i think it will all depend on in game performance specific for PT among the 2/3 position… might even see Murphy tried at the 3 spot if his 3 point shooting stays above 40%.
I’d like to see Mayer and/or Cox or Harris spell Smith to get his avg to around 35. If Mayer turns out to absolutely earn time making it difficult to not give him more time and his PG skills are as advertised he might see more time at the point than we expect.
I also hope DJ comes out fit, heavier and hungry and pulls an Edey in that Paint feels he’s got to be the starter between he and Cluff. That’d be a great situation for the team having two starters to rotate. I hope Paint finds his life extremely difficult going into the season and all the returning players make a jump and the new guys are great fits and bring more to the team than expected. I for some reason have a feeling that we’re all gonna be pleasantly surprised by Benter, we’ll see. BTFU!!!
DJ is up to 250lbs.

West and Benter have to be substantially better than Loyer on Defense to take his minutes. I have no idea if that is something they are known for.

I've watched Bailey and Miles, both are good teammates Miles is a high-flying rebounding machine, and Bailey is a play hard big. Different make up vs Woodson signing high ranking players more of me first types. Woodson had good success IMO just not good enough he was simply too old for the job.

And those #s are meaningless, played by a bunch mid tier players with no NCAA Tournament experience, no big ten experience, most of them can't tell you what winning is let alone how to win. The construction of this squad is very questionable. Don't like three players have injury issues. By the way I Saw where Sisley was rated closer to 150.
Sisley is 61st on ESPN, 66th on the 247Sports composite and 91st on Rivals.
