Few things to consider about PFB moving forward

I don't think the new BIG and all the changes in college sports helps you hiring a new coach. The schedule just keeps getting worse which makes it harder and harder to turn things around.

Face it, we've become the Washington Generals of the BIG. The occasional opponent for the top level to circle as a win and a bit of a break. You accidentally get a really good player, the big dogs of college football are just going to come in and out bid you for them and take them anyways.

Just time to admit what the situation really is, we aren't competing in football, so just cash the checks coming in and focus on Basketball and other sports.
That's really a defeatist perspective. While I'm resigned to the fact that we'll never be OSU, UM or PSU in football (and it took me a while to admit that), there's no reason Purdue can't be in that second tier and put the fear of God into those teams when we play them,
Hopefully this year is an anomaly and we right the ship, but the expectation should be 6-8 wins with the occasional 9-10 win season, regular bowl appearances and beating a team or two you're not supposed to every year.

Few things to consider about PFB moving forward

It's an excuse. Some MLB teams have found ways to compete in spite of a huge deficit in resources to most of their competitors. I don't know if there is a moneyball type of solution in college football but whatever the solution is I hope we think about it innovatively and try to figure it out. I do know we saw a bunch of upsets last weekend so it's very possible for us to compete with and beat the top programs when we get it together.
With baseball, you still have contracts. With college, a guy shows enough, there is nothing stopping him from then sitting out to preserve his year for a better program. MLB doesn't have to potentially rebuild their entire roster every year which is where we are heading.

FEMA running out of money?

What you say suggests that the two party duopoly is the only way. It’s not. They are corrupt about making sure there is no other options. It’s the fault of those who have stopped drinking the kool aid that there is plenty to criticize about two parties who give you no option to vote:

Against endless war
Against big banks
For single payer health care

Remember.. here are your biggest voting blocks in order

People who don’t vote
Independents
Whoever is more popular between the democrats and republicans

Held accountable how? You mean like we are going to have accountability for all of the taxpayer dollars wasted for lying us into a war in Iraq that killed a million people and then instituting a torture program to cover it up? Because guess what dumbass… what’s lost in all of your righteousness is that not only does Cheney walk the earth free, but your selected candidate celebrates his endorsement.

You’re full of shit … professional class so called liberal
You're wrong yet again. Nothing I would like more than a third party. This is what happens when you jump into a conversation and start making judgments about people you don't know.

Im not sure what your infatuation is with the Iraq war. You seem to drag it into every conversation you have. I was against that war but yet again, you wouldn't know that either.

You do remind me of all the angry trumpers out their who call people liberals because they're not MAGA. I don't know wtf you are, nor do I care. Go argue with somebody else.

Purdue picked to win Big Ten

Assembly Hall??? Its was designed not for the fan. Sure it gets loud when there is a big game, but most of the time it kinda feels like your at Cracker Barrell! At Mackey, the fans always bring it, was designed for basketball! Now where in the states does it get louder than Mackey! Been to both, sorry but your wrong!
Under the balcony can suck to sit at, but the place was literally built to send sound to the floor. Why it's so loud. I know Purdue fans can't be unbiased, but Assembly Hall #2 in the nation. The Phog is just too good(bucket list type place).

Purdue picked to win Big Ten

As Tom Cream once said, "It's Indiana." The brand is still there. That's why Indiana makes more money than basically every other program. Meaning the fan support is there as well. And when Indiana is good, Mackey can't touch Assembly Hall. Really nowhere else can outside of Phog Allen. Throw in the fact you get all that plus money... It's a pretty good deal. NIL should help Indiana get back to where it belongs. Haven't been in the top 10 nationally much the last decade outside of maybe a couple times but that's where they belong. And it'll be better for the B1G if/when they get back there. Is that this year? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not.

It would also help if the IU head coach wasn't perceived to be a "lovable but quirky ol' grandpa" type.

Lol. When you're seemingly against both parties and anything establishment and are left to freely criticize everything, you're going to have lots of targets and plenty to bitch about. Sorry, governing 330 million people in a democracy with free speech is messy.

And I say freakin word about censoring ANYTHING dipstick. You did. All I said was people who lie and spread misinformation, especially when it hurts people, need to be held accountable. You turned it into censorship, which is obviously a constant source of annoyance for you.

Edey with a MONSTER dunk on a lob from Morant. This is going to be a scary duo...

He attempted 3 of them and missed them all, including an air ball. He can be a good shooter in time but they may be pressing too hard. His strength is posting in the block. He should focus on that this year. And his teammates should actually look form him, which they did a poor job of last night.

Net pressing too hard on Edey shooting 3's. The time to start shooting is now. He will miss, but he will make them in time. It wasnt something he has done before, taking them in a game is the first step. He shoots 1,000 in practice, game shooting is different.

Dont shoot 12 like you are curry, but 2 or 3 is fine, they will start falling.

Harris and Biden to Iran...."Don't"

That wasn't the only response. Seal Team Six did some nice work during that administration also.

So Israel is now in the unenviable position of being forced to bomb the shit out of their enemies because they were attacked first.
Would have been a lot better if they'd rigged those Hezbollah cell phones two years ago, and used the intel to blow up those Gaza tunnels as soon as it was verified, not once 1,500 innocents were slaughtered by terrorists.

So 'spank 'em after they've misbehaved'? That's a loser strategy. It's way better to punish them as soon as you find out they're going to misbehave.

Wrong.
You lay out the consequence for the misbehavior (like Trump did) and make sure the enemy, knows with 100% certainty, what will happen if they don't do exactly what you say. There is no 'calling your bluff'.

It's the reason the global bad actors didn't test Trump and for the same reason, don't fear Harris/Biden.

For all of the Democrats who think Trump is “in it for himself”

There will be books written for years about it for sure. Maybe you'll end up being right. But right now it's an example of Occam's razor and your habit of defaulting to a conspiracy to explain it. You have any facts whatsoever?
So, you think that after defiantly confirming and reconfirming that he was in it to win it and wasn't going anywhere, that Biden woke up one morning and said "yah know, I think I'll drop out."

The only conspiracy is not that there were huge sums of money at play, but who provided those funds. Soros is a good bet as one of the big "donors".
