Commitment and what it would mean now

So you are preaching hear say. Sounds like the collective is over 9 mil and growing, so does that mean football is getting a very small portion? Whats getting the most?

How does all this change with collective bargaining and NIL taking a bit of a back seat? You don't seem to be accounting for that either.
Word was last year from the same people … what card (who we didn’t know was terrible at the time) got, every scholarship basketball player got.

Scourton getting offered 400 and being ready to take it was per Brian the day he hit the portal. So why would it be so unreasonable that Jenkins would get half of what Scourton ended up taking at TAMU (825 plus at least access to a house and car)

Good players Purdue has recruited, developed and retained by class

No no.. this is about you claiming that only 6 players who are competent big ten players remaining can’t be discussed cause players leave .. almost no one left who did anything after they left.

Scourton was a backup who did almost nothing for mark Hagen lol
He was a Freshman. Most don’t play.

You’ve talked yourself in a giant circle here.

I don’t think the talents great but 3 things have or haven’t happened.

1 . Development of who’s here by Walters. Nobody seems to be getting better.

2. There’s been a lot of roster turnover. Last year the board claimed the coach needed his guys. This year you’re using the fact that HE has turned over the roster to get “his” guys against the previous coach and not this one. It’s hard to develop guys when you don’t let them stick around.

3. Scourton and Jenkins both broke out. The defense still sucked. We can have a few guys here or there but unless this D is loaded with future NFL talent it’s not gunna work. We’ve seen that 18 games worth and it’s getting worse.

I have no problems with him bringing in who he thinks he needs to win. The issue is I can’t think of a Purdue team that’s EVER had the roster to make his defense work. It just doesn’t. Not for us. I don’t hate the guy for it but I’d like him to move on because he’s not a fit for us.

Yes, money makes this all easier but t we don’t know who would have or would not have developed with Brohm. Browne is one of his. Klare is one of his. 3 OL are his. There are guys. But 2 years later I think you’d have a hard time finding me that many teams who kept around a large chunk of their players.

Everybody has their hands out. Everybody looking to leave for a “better” situation. You talk about NIL a lot but you seem to not understand its ramifications of turnover on the team.

Keep blaming Brohm!

He’s one of the good ones. There has to be a lot more to the story than I’ve heard, given the timing after the start of practice. He and Jay Wright were two of my favorites and both got out young.
Yeah very weird timing, seems like maybe there's a health concern or something. Just speculating, it's just odd. I don't remember when in the offseason Wright retired but don't think it was close to the start of the season.

ETA: Jay Wright retired on April 21, 2022.

I don't car who's idea it was. Across the board tariffs are stupid and dangerous. History has proven it over and over again.
History has never had a massive exporting country like China that tries to undermine democratic countries through use of slave labor, sabotage and IP theft.

Would you be surprised to learn that China is our top adversary -- not Iran like our clueless Vice Puppet thinks?

What does this even mean? You talking about John Deere?

There are no large Chinese auto plants in Mexico. None being built. He's lying again. Did you simply believe what he said?

Reliable and great are two different things. 43% is great for big ten basketball, but I wouldn’t call that great for high school. I think Nojel eastern had similar shooting in high school. I just wouldn’t advertise that as a strength especially after he said that is something he needs to work on. Again I see him similar to Lance jones.

Perhaps Nojel shot 43% from the foul line.....3... doubt it.

You reap what you sow

I don't believe that. Not really the point here.

Did you have any sons that were alter servers? Any of your children spend any time alone with with priests or church leaders? Your precious Catholic Church covered up thousands of sexual assaults for decades and you have the nerve to rant about bathrooms. How many documented cases have there been?
I must have missed all your posts attacking the Catholic Church you freakin hypocrite. Hundreds of thousands of children around the world have been abused by Catholic leaders. But watch out for the transgenders in the bathrooms.
I went to Catholic school and yes, I was an alter boy. And no, I never experienced, saw or heard of anything going on between priests and alter boys. Sorry to disappoint you.
But, I'm not sure how much more emphatically you want me to be about what the punishment should be? The coverup by the church leadership was a disgrace and those responsible need to be punished to the maximum extent.

But, I'm not seeing the connection you're making between priest molesting children and men in women's locker rooms. Seems like a lot of 'whataboutism'.
