Only 1 other school in the country spends more money on their football program than FSU. Spending money on a buyout isn't an issue.

I'm not sure what your follow question is about cash flows? Are you saying Purdue couldn't afford to buyout Walters? According to whom? Wanting to pay a buyout is not the same as the ability to pay a buyout. Purdue (and FSU) have the ability without a problem.
Purdue doesn't have a money problem either, especially with the tens of millions about to be dumped in their lap with the new TV deal.

I was initially concerned who was going to fill that role that Lance Jones did last year, and I think the early answer is Gircarri Harris. That guy has some good handles! Colvin looked sharp too and Loyer looks like he spent some time in the weight room. Keep this group together and happy and the future looks really bright! I think Jacobsen will eventually be the guy in the middle, (apparently, he is still growing taller) but time will tell.

I think Painter has already made up his mind about redshirting Burgess or not, and that he isn't going to. I think the indication is that he played against Creighton, while Benter and the walk-ons did not. Last night was different being at home, so he wanted everyone to get in, especially since it was a blowout. If the box score is doing these things right, it looks like he was the 2nd guy off the bench last night as well.

It's an interesting take considering 90% of the opinions about Burgess so far have been quite positive. I haven't watched anything other than highlight reels, so hard for me to comment on his play.
