Remember last year when they fired the coach and we were the next game. Looked like it should be an easy game and then we lost. Hope that we have some revenge motivation, especially from the big 3 who started that game

Yeah, it looks like he has some skills but it doesn't seem to be translating into a game environment. Maybe he just doesn't have 'it', but I think getting some real playing time would help. He's certainly doesn't have elite mobility, even for his size, but IMO he looks more mobile than Haas and some other functional bigs we've seen in the Big Ten. The problem is he's not providing any of the upside benefits you need from those bigs to offset the lack of mobility relative to smaller fives.

I agree. He's not a stiff. This level of competition still seems fast for him, It's hard to find 7'2 guys who can move. Would love to know if Brantly thinks he can build him into a solid player.

But, is what Wolegib said wrong? Injury or not, I don't think the kid grew into his potential. I am sure all of us wish every past, present, and future Boilermaker luck in life. But, this portal is for us to share opinions, insight, observations, or thoughts on all-things Purdue Sports.

Plus, I don't think the kid is reading this board, but even if he was, would he feel that he lived up to his potential?
