TBH, i thought Berg was great those first few mins to start the game before his 2nd foul. Now, it’s not where we need him….but HUGE improvement. Lots of energy and physicality.
Not being mean here, but he can’t jump high, so he needs to just box out his man to get the board. But I like the improvement I saw from him tonight.
Defenders will rotated. I believe that Colvin and Cox are the best to defend him but won’t be surprised to see Harris and Heide on him too at some points. Smith needs to score a lot and take control of the game. I also think there’s a good chance we see big game fletch tonight
Quite frankly I have been disappointed in his play this young season.
Not because he didn't play ok, he did, but because I KNEW he had tonight's ability in him. And tonight, on the big stage -- finally. We have seen flashes of it, last year.....now is his time.
That was definitely channeling Vinnie Johnson with that stretch.....instant triples, and he's calling for the play.....love it, and he has got some moxy for a freshman.
Yes that dude is a gamer. He just comes in hot and gets hotter. Love him off the bench.....a great team needs a guy like that. Painter, he just finds guys that get it done
Agreed. I did not expect a win. I was looking for a chance to let the young guys get experience against a top team and an opportunity for the team to gel. Those things happened... and they won!
Loved the bait block on Sears....he is definitely starting to enjoy the stopper role it appears. Work in progress, but they definitely have some potential when they get it right - much more capability with the wings.
