Can’t line up correctly

I respectfully disagree, Bone. I know you’re a big speed and athleticism guy - metrics that show up early in recruiting rankings. But the full picture emerges a little more clearly when you look at data around production. You can’t deny he’s been productive. That’s as much a factor of the way his mind works, and the way he controls his body, as any of the metrics that affect recruiting rankings. The dude gets his job done, and he is a bright spot.
I think you misunderstood me. Klare is one of the few bright spots on our offense. Good athlete, good route runner, solid hands. He'll play in the NFL. I think if Walters is kept around, Klare will shop his services and find a winning program that features the TE.

Worst Purdue Football Coach in your lifetime

Been around since Mollenkopf. Boob DeMoose was a decent position coach but a terrible HC. The Young and Brohm eras were to short to give them high props. Hope was Hopeless. Hazzell is still somewhere reviewing film. Walters appears to be out to lunch. I see him on the sidelines and he seems detached with his eyes glazed over like he's been smoking some good stuff. Maybe that's just the look of someone who's on a much higher cerebral level than the rest of us.

What happens to our program, if Walters does not end up getting let go this year?

I hear you Riveting, but McCarthy’s at least had three winning seasons in a row and his winning percent with the Cowboys is over 60%.

Walters? 22% while posting a worse record than the previous year, each year at the helm.

I’m just trying to learn if there’s any precedent from any major program in any sport to keep an unproven coach who is sliding downhill and already the worst in their team’s decades-long history. And maybe more importantly, if we can even find an instance, how did that turn out for them in the following seasons? I’m guessing it’s gonna be really hard to find any comparison to this open-ended question.

Perhaps a better question is why is this even a question?
As a long-time sports fan, I think it is an interesting question.

When I get some time, I might look up Casey Stengel's record with the Mets, eliciting his famous quote, "This team has shown me ways to lose I didn't know existed."

The 'TD' pass within the bizarre second end zone line on Sat falls under that category.

Klare will get paid to go somewhere as well. I don't think Mock is that big of a loss. He's a decent back, but has no burst or second gear.

Democrats proposing a shadow government in clear sedition!

Who in Congress called for a Civil War? Is that what they told you on msnbc?
Sorry. State representatives. Lang of Ohio. Moore in Georgia. Maddock in Michigan.

Doesn't change the point. This isn't a movement because one democrat in the House spoke about it anymore than Alex Jones calling for civil war if trump lost. Actually Jones has a lot more influence.

Democrats proposing a shadow government in clear sedition!

I think it is a good idea. The dems will have to expose the nitwits they would put in such a cabinet, and then the stupid things they can predictably be counted on to say will be good campaign material in 26 and 28 - like Kam's bragging about being a leader in the fight to get free sex changes for criminals was this year. I bet I saw that particular ad 30-40 times this fall while watching football.
They just elevated one of their finest nights, little Shifty Adam Shiff, to the Senate. One of these days he's going to produce all of his Russia Collusion evidence.

True, but wasn't that a consistent problem of Purdue football throughout the 70s and 80s? A lot of "aces and spaces" rosters with some high-level individual talent but rarely enough to make great teams outside of the Jim Young era.
I would defer to others who were around for the Mollenkopf and DeMoss eras, but it seemed that decline began with his tenure.

Worst Half of Purdue Football Ever...

I've seen a lot of it and this this the worst half of Purdue football ever include the Hazel era...

Both lines getting manhandled. Zero preparation. Mistackle everywhere and this this after a bye week. Walter is not the guy.

If this continues without improvements. I'm not see 3-4 wins with this team this year. Then let's cut bait and move on with Walter...
Mistackle everywhere

How can a football player not be able to tackle? kind of like can you catch, throw, block and tackle? Go low, not high.

Volleyball Signees

I looked up one VB rating site. Only Tindall was 5*, THe Libero 'Warren' is way down and listed as a 4* and the others are all 3* rated very low. I thought Shondell said Warren was rated the #1 libero in the country. This site has Nebraska, Minnesota & Penn State in the top 10 And Illinois & IU way up there also. Any other ratings sites people have seen?

I know he won more than the others, but seems that DeMoss inherited a pile of NFL players and underachieved…
