Wtf are you talking about? These aren't just words people are saying. They are proclaiming this is a belief system and a way of way for them. They want others to believe the same way and try to enact laws so they have to.
That's like Biden saying he's not too old to be president. Why don't you give him a pass on that? Based on his words you would say he isn't. Based on his actions you would say he is. Accordingly, you should ignore his words and forget about it.
Never mind this murderer is acting 180 degrees different than what he says he believes.
Your logic sucks.
I think there is a disconnect between you and Riveting. He is saying his actions or murdering is not aligned with a Christian. Actually, it is a huge disconnect. I have no idea what the man's belief system is since he never actually listed any scripture or declared such. He danced and... His actions represent the Christian body about as much as Genghis Kahn did. I don't believe that anyone that supports abortion cannot be a Christian although that act is definitely not Christian. Man has fallen short many times, which brings me to the following: 1) Some Protestant denominations believe once saved...always saved. 2) Others believe you can fall out and need to start over. 3) Catholics in particular believe that there is a purification process...even for those that believe in Christ and that man is incapable of perfection and so the acceptance of Christ is a starting point rather than an ending point.
Philippians 2:12
"Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling"
Martin Luther wanted James removed primarily due to 2:17/18, but can start at 2:14 for a bit more..."

So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
18 But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.”
Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.
I have no idea what the man "was" or will be, but his act at that moment was not driven by Christ.
