J6 Bombshell: Trump Didn't Just Offer Military to Protect Capitol, He Ordered It but Was Disobeyed

I said in my earlier post that they shot the crazy Flavor Aider trying to climb through a window while congress is in session. After she was shot, the rest of the Flavor Aiders in her group did not go any further did they? The police should have shot 1,999 more of them. If they were black, they would have.

Close your eyes and picture this scenario. Picture 2,000 black folks storming the Capitol and beating the hell out of the cops. Answer this question, what should the Capitol police should have done in that scenario? This question is for anyone reading this post.
Kind of strange to me that the Capital police shot a woman instead of a guy. She had to a lesser threat to him than some of the others.

J6 Bombshell: Trump Didn't Just Offer Military to Protect Capitol, He Ordered It but Was Disobeyed

Those videos were after things had calmed down. I'm tired of this narrative.
I don't know why anyone would think the completely outnumbered police should have re-escalated the conflict and started arresting people as things were calming down.
My God, you are in complete denial. Over 200 Capitol Police, all with handguns, couldn't keep a gaggle of rag-a-muffins with no firearms out of the Capitol Building? THAT IS THEIR JOB! If someone tries to break into the building , shoot them. Take gun from holster and BANG BANG BANG. And outnumbered? 200 guns vs 0 firearms, that's being outnumbered.

Do you understand what the Secret Service does to some wacko who jumps the fence at the White House? BANG BANG dead meat.

Any idea who Coach Painter is talking about?

Yes. 100% Although DJ has tons of potential, he has only logged 26 minutes as a Boiler. Many here are overly optimistic. While sure, we hope he is next year's all Big Ten frosh of the year. My real hope is he just makes it through a year.

Wow??

I imagine poachers will come after him. 5 double figure games in last 9. Great defender. Good handles. Trending WAY UP. If we talk about core retention, I can't imagine how Cox isn't part of that?? Got to keep your starters. We now have a big 4, Cox is part of that.

Not only is he essential to our core, he is likely our leading scorer for two years post Braden.
I agree on Cox, he's playing well but it's not like he's irreplaceable. He could get NIL, he might want to play closer to home, he might get offered a program where he's the #1 scoring option. We just don't know.

Illini looking strong

This is where I believe a different coach might make a difference. Woodson also has people on is bench and have a hard time believing all share in Woodson's IU team play, but I don't think it is totally on Woodson either. Without adding on to the blame of Woodson, had Matt had these players I suspect things might be different. If true, that would also suggest that when we try to compare stats on a player that might be in the portal it may or may not hold true for Purdue in that Purdue expects a cerebral player within the team.

Now, I'm not suggesting that Leal is a great player, but have no doubt he would have seen more minutes at Purdue than he has at IU. The few times I caught IU over his years, he seems to be perhaps their most cerebral player in that he generally plays inside a team approach and makes good decisions. This IU team has individual talent and that talent has individual stats that look good on paper...and passes the eye test as individuals. However, the few times I see them, it many times is individual play taking place.

I understood this early and thought (and it may still happen?) that as the season went on that talent would become a team. They have enough individual talent that if things change they can get a lot better. They have a rotten culture there as they seem to overlook culture, cerebral play and team unified goals. Perhaps Woodson's success whatever level it was in the NBA was due to the individual talent like IU , but honed by their coaches in college in things outside their individual stats that carried over to the NBA a bit for Woodson? All I know is last night had too much talent for IU to have the results they had. Illinois can also get to individual play at times, but have some shooters and do seem to have some action away from the ball. Can you imagine if Knight had his IU team played like last night?
I've been thinking some on this. If you get a player who was regarded as good out of HS from a "bad" school out of the portal, is the issue the player has to "re-learn" how to play and "un-learn" bad coaching/habits? Can they? If they've been there for a few years do they now depend too much on their own skill set because they didn't get anything out of their first few years via coaching, and now you can't teach the "old" dog new tricks? I can see a player developing an attitude of "these coaches aren't/can't teach me anything, so I just need to develop myself". I remember a great line from "Hoop Dreams" where Curtis's mother notes he thought he knew more than his coaches did and was going to play HIS way (which didn't work out). Kid may or may not have that attitude going into college, but he could certainly develop it under the wrong coach.

The Flavor Aiders "touring" Capitol was clearly way before all hell broke loose. Those were the early birds that got there after that jacked up rally with Chump.

Trump flexed, Hamas caved.. Shocker

Dude if you think just 4 words uttered by a fool is what led to this then you are more imbedded in the MAGA cult than ever. How about the months of negotiations between Netanyahu/Israel and Hamas that led to this. Give me a break.
Please, please turn off MSNBC and stop believing everything you hear on Urban radio.

Do you really think it's just coincidence that Trump issued and ultimatum with a deadline (Jan 20th) and that it just so happens that Hamas suddenly decides to release all the hostages by Jan 20th?

What do you think Trump with do on Jan 21st if all the hostages aren't released? Do you think they'll be repercussions for Hamas?

How Long Until Sisley De-Commits?

Depends what coach is brought in. Kelsey has done pretty well in year 1 with a 100% new team. May is doing well in year 1. Pope is absolutely killing it with a 100% new team. Beard took two years but it's also Ole Miss. It all just depends on the next guy. I don't consider Sisley to be a guy that'll be an impact player year 1 to begin with.
I think Sisley sticks with IU, he knew what he was getting into, but a recruit would have to be an idiot to bet on IU getting this turned around quickly given their track record.

'Deep, dark son of a b***h': Trump shares anti-Netanyahu video online

Gotcha, so let's take a couple months of history over the past 100 years... FFS.

The reason those places are destroyed is because of what they did to Israel first. Israel is sending a message that says enough is enough.
No. Judea was destroyed by the Romans in 70AD, 2 thousand years ago. Then in 1948, a new experiment of a new Jewish state came about. Ever since then, they have wanted all of it back.

Nice....Iowa over iu

Some of you are dumber than the box of rocks that look down on Doornob.
Has trump ever NOT quit on ANYTHING?

Triggered much? The gentleman posted a funny picture. And this is your response??

Please reserve your overtly political commentary for the GD board. I reported this post, but apparently moderators are either asleep, or ok with this. Not sure why this is ok??

J6 Bombshell: Trump Didn't Just Offer Military to Protect Capitol, He Ordered It but Was Disobeyed

This doesn't address the complete mission failure of the other uniformed officers at the Capitol - the Capitol Police. There are numerous videos of these incompetent fools escorting rioters in and chatting with them inside the building. Here's what each one of them deserves:

Trump flexed, Hamas caved.. Shocker

You don't understand how this works, do you?

All Trump had to do was issue the threat and ultimatum. That's all it took. Do you think Trump is bluffing? Yeh, Hamas doesn't either.

Why is it that those that say so much, have so little to offer...
And just what did you offer? I did my part to help right the ship. That was part of my complaint all along. Bitching doesn't solve the problem. And anyone that thinks that Purdue wasn't put in a tough spot with Brohm leaving is totally clueless. Initially I was against the Walters hiring and I registered my thoughts privately through emails and phone calls. However, once the decision was made I decided to support my Alma Mater in the best ways that I could. It didn't work out. I acknowledged that and took my lumps for supporting Purdue to internet trolls that offer nothing but criticism. Easy to do when you hide behind a computer screen and howl at the moon.

Any idea who Coach Painter is talking about?

Relying on a 7'4 light weight freshman coming off a major leg injury to immediately enter the starting line up? If the injury lingers, is Burgess now a starter? Who do you put with TKR? Berg?

Yes. 100% Although DJ has tons of potential, he has only logged 26 minutes as a Boiler. Many here are overly optimistic. While sure, we hope he is next year's all Big Ten frosh of the year. My real hope is he just makes it through a year.

Cox is solid, but he's upgradable.

Illinois - are they the team to beat?

Watched a good chunk of that first half and couldn't make up my mind if Illinois was impressive or if IU just really sucked. They just don't try - of course a team like Illinois (who kept their starters in all the way to the end of a 30 point blowout) is going to boat race an IU team that would rather be counting their NIL stacks than playing basketball.

It was pretty early in the 1st half and the Illinois big, Milsivic or w.e, got an offensive board with 3 IU guys around him and the first thing they all do is just back up 2 steps to give him room to dunk... like wtf?
IU just doesn't look interested at all. Good talent, but they seem to be playing like it's a summertime AAU game that doesn't mean a lot. Nebraska beat IU by 17 back Dec. Buckner's appointment with the IU board ends this year so I'd expect Woody to maybe survive 1 more year - his buyout gets reduced in 2026, but he might not last that long.
