That's just the beauty of the NCAA tourney. Nothing is guaranteed expect for chaos. You sure about that? Cuz All that SEC talent has resulted in only 2 appearances in the F4 the last 5 tourneys

This was a good win in a lot of ways in how the game played out. This is a confidence builder in how things played out in a Purdue team that maybe was a bit more unsure than the recent past. Game was physical early and close. Fouls on Trey and then Caleb a bit with Braden’s stroke off a bit, but they hung in there and the refs found their pea and then shots other than Fletch started to fall. I like CJ and Caleb starting
Georgias backup QB played pretty well. He didn't look any worse than Beck. You are an idiot. Georgia actually looked like the better team, just made some mistakes, largely by their backup qb. Indiana was dominated by ND.
That was Based on a lot of social media chatter over offseason. Illinois looks to be pretty good tho. Will be interested to see if they can keep it up for conference play. You just made this up, lol … but yes, we are good.
You just made this up, lol … but yes, we are good.Illini, according to their fans, are a F4 team with best passer (Jakucionis) and player (Riley) and shooter (humrichous) and best big man (ivisic — who isn’t eligible yet).
Who hasn’t!! 🥁Bank Shot is an IU fan. I'm pretty sure the Illini have beaten them a few times in the past 10-15 years.
Washington over Maryland. Good battle between Osobor and Reese. Queen not ready to mix it up with the big boys. Looks like Illinois will blow out Oregon out west.Indeed. Oregon looks good. But we will see how they shake out in the B1G schedule. This has been an ongoing problem for the Big Ten. Over the years the amount of elite talent has started to drop off. A lot of it going to the SEC. The thing about the Big Ten is that coaches are good at game planning against other Big Ten schools. It isn't like Big Ten schools aren't good, they just aren't elite. Like the past two years there was Purdue. There have been great years throughout the 2010s where you had Michigan State who was nationally elite. Ohio State. Purdue. Wisconsin. Illinois a couple of years. Indiana a couple of years. Maryland a couple of years. Michigan. Just don't have that elite talent and nationally elite teams. Oregon, UCLA and Michigan State look like the best. Michigan and Purdue right behind that or even in that group.
While not the best, they combined for 5 pts, 9 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals. Still not great shooting it at 2/8 overall and 1/6 from 3. Hope it picks up soon…like Sunday 😂I’m gonna be a nostradamus tonight and say one of these two contributes in a big way - hopefully both
Have been saying for a bit he’s the best PG to ever come through PurdueFavorite boiler ever
Favorite boiler everSmith joining the 1000 points, 500 assists and 400 rebounds club….second player to ever do it at Purdue….hes only halfway through his junior year.
Not bad for a lowly rated recruit from Westfield 😉
Should be fairly easy to replace last year's version of DT.Right now on paper we may be close to where we were last year. If we can just pick up an all American safety to replace Thienemans skill level… then we will be better!

That's a great question. My guess is that's not the type of conversation Painter is having with players but I agree that it makes sense to illicit feedback from your senior star point guard.Do you think Painter would have a 1 on 1 with Smith and say "What do you need me to get you from the portal?". (meaning, what does Painter need to go get in the portal to makes Smiths job easier and build a NC team)
