You're keeping them off another team you might be playing. See ND in the 60's-70's.You're effectively wasting a scholarship for someone like that

one guy that comes to mind for me is Luke Harrangoody ( sp?) he was an undersized Center that did well in collegeHe's the most offensively effective below the rim player I can remember. I'm struggling to even come up with a historical comparison. Probably some Wisconsin player...
Do I understand correctly that the total roster size can only be 15? Don’t we currently have 3-4 walkons? What happens to them? Do you just say, thanks for the memories? And say sorry, you are no longer on the team?
Take em allWhat would we take, maybe 2 of those combo guards? Is Kinney actually more of a 1? Obviously, Reynolds may be our #1 target, but that's a really good list of talent that we are targeting.
1.6 million would be worth it.
At least if there is a change, we know we will deal with a new coach and give her/him time to grow, recruit and bring in a new system. There have been other teams who were really bad, like us, and are back to being competitive in 2-3 years with a new staff, roster and direction. Our leaders need to get off their butts and act as if they give a damn, at least for the sake of the dwinding fanbase and/or alumni. They should be ashamed to be indifferent about this.
A Purdue job is much better than a mid-major school, so there should be some good candidates who would be attracted to coming here. That said, if it stays as it is, we aren't going up, not even an inch. We gave this staff many changes and it didn't work out. Say bye, bye.

Wouldn’t have had him for some games last year. I think it was better for him to get that experience as a Frosh on a great team and follow the leadership from Zach and Mason.actually a RS yr would have been a great boost for Colvin's career
It was awesome. They put Zelenskyy in his place. He took advantage of Biden and the US taxpayer. Not any longer. To say embarrassing is an understatement. This is the worse head of state press conference I’ve ever seen. Chump and Vance gaining up on Zelenskyy in front of the world. What a doo doo show.

He will be back! What’s the risk for Trey in coming back?
Overly performed??? Whaaaat? You mentioned Nick Martinelli......be a nice piece for Purdue next year, if he goes the portal route.
TKR has wildly over performed this year. Might be 2nd or 3rd team AA?? That is really something considering he wasn't on any all B10 teams last year. MEGA jump.
What is your definition of God?I don't take any advice, especially when it comes to science, from someone who makes this statement.
"The only other pure science is God."
I can't think of a more ridiculous thing to say.
I am not disputing the data because, for thirty years, I have read similar studies. It is what I was trying to say that if A, then B, and therefore C. I am saying that if studies are saying C, then A or B is wrong because I have witnessed it firsthand. It has nothing to do with what I feel because then you would be correct, and I have ignored the science. Science is what you observe at the time of a perfectly normal child morphing into autism within a month. This was substantiated when others say they observed this, too, with their perfectly normal child from immediately to a short time. This is science. This is all well and good. But that’s not even what he is saying. He is not disputing the data or any aspect of it. Just saying he is ignoring it because it doesn’t align with how others feel or what he thinks.
If there were some issue with the data or some counter study to consider, that’s an entirely different conversation. The fact those aren’t even part of the conversation is my point.
Michigan has had extremely good luck. Wonder if this is the start of it running out…hmmThat is insane. We beat them by 27 and their total margin of victory for the 9 wins is 28.
I’m guessing the walk ons will be the scout team like you mentionedI think you'll see most schools hold 1 or 2 scholarships back for a late transfer add so it's possible they'll give those to a walk-on but the issue is situations will change annually. A guy might get a scholarship his sophomore year but they might give it away his junior year.
Will scout teams be a thing? That's where you may end up finding these guys. But they won't be able to dress if on the scout team.
Can you explain this? Right now on espn it shows purdue as 5th in the standings with maryland 3rd and wisconsin 4th and it is currently a 3 way tie between us 3.3-way tie at 14-6 (Wisconsin losing to Minny) puts us 2nd. 4-way tie puts us 3rd.
Wish he’d be given the opportunity by the staff to do thatHe is a CG so would hope so.
Speaking of, I like that Colvin has been dribbling and taking some midrange shots lately. I remember watching his high school film and he had a nice middie. Wish he could learn to do some booty ball and bully smaller guards.
He’s 6’5 cuz smith is 5’10 lolI see him listed as 6'5". Looks like 6-8" taller than Smith. Looks like he has some hops from vid I've seen.
