Remind me again what people are upset about with Trump?

Your analogy is absurd. It makes no sense.

On Jan 6th, both things happened: A mob a rag-a-muffins protested at the Capitol, and clearly some of the protesters were violent while some were peaceful. You like to talk about a clown show, here we had some CP officers in hand-to-hand combat at the same time that other CP were ushering protesters into the building and escorted them thru it.

Either way, the Capitol Police had complete mission failure. It is their job to protect the building and its occupants and they clearly did not.

All 200+ Capitol Police had handguns. The protesters did not. They should have shot those who tried to break into the building. They failed. They are cowards and that's why four of them committed suicide after Jan 6th.
You and I agree that they should have been shot. However, I told y'all several times on why they weren't shot.

Don't assume anything

I'm going to let that epic piece of whatever rest on it's own merits. (or lack thereof)
yes, you are being ignorant.
Stand down. He's specifically referring to the strange comment you made, that someone no one saw coming is going to be really good, and "hopefully that's us." That's strange from the standpoint that EVERYONE sees Purdue being a top team next year, so we're not a team that "no one saw coming."

Sorry, don't agree. Purdue has one of the TOP rated front courts in country. We are twice as deep as last year, not just OK? There are 5 teams in the BT that don't even have a center let alone one of the best rebounders in the country in CLUFF! TKR is a 3rd team ALL-American. DJ started last year, 7'4" rim protector who can shoot. Burgess was our main back-up last year(can shoot) on a top 15 team in the country. There are maybe 2 or 3 teams that will be able to match Purdues skill level at the 4 and 5 in the country next year. Just take a look at the BT, Bigs are missing everywhere. Most teams will have PFs playing out of position, most of them will be fine because most of them will face teams with the same front court issues. BUT, they will not be happy when they see Purdue show up on the schedule!
I was arguing about depth and you are arguing about how good the players are. I don't think anyone doubts that our 3 bigs are going to be dominant. Depth is about how many players you have behind the starters and how much you lose playing the second or third string. Like I said I think we are ok, in that we lose TKR, Cluff, or Jacobsen it's not going to end our season, but Burgess and Liam will be a big step down from those 3, and bigs usually don't play much more than 20-25 mpg (obviously TKR did last year).

Compare that depth to the 2-3 and it's night and day difference. We lose any of the 2-3 players and we have 4 more very capable replacements that can likely fill the void without a drop off.

Although Painter hasn't done it really in the past, this roster is constructed to give completely different looks and playstyles based on the opponent. With 12 playable people on the roster we can do things like aggressive D/press and not worry about foul trouble, have a squad focused on transition offense (TKR/Jacobsen, Liam, Omer, Cox, Smith), a squad for traditional play (Cluff, TKR, Loyer, Harris/Cox, Smith), or a 3 point shooting offense (Jacobsen, Liam, Omer, Loyer, Smith).

The only real gap we have in the roster overall is ISO ball, but I think Smith's ability to find the open man makes that gap somewhat negligible.

Go up to an armed police officer in your hometown and begin hitting him and pushing him around. The come back and tell us what happens.
Go up to an armed police officer in your neighborhood accompanied by over 1,000 people, many of whom are armed with metal poles or pepper spray. The come back and see what happens.

Do you really think that if the numbers weren't overwhelming these officers would have backed down? No one thought they'd be facing a crush of 3,000 insurrectionists.

I won't argue with the Cluff losing minutes statement, but depth at the 4 and 5 is just ok. Our real depth is at the 2/3, with Loyer, Cox, Harris, Omer, Benter, West, and Liam all fighting for 80 minutes available. That's only 11 minutes of playing time per player, and we know Loyer is playing more than 11.

Compare that to the front court where you have 4 players splitting 80 minutes and it's really not that deep, more of just right as long as we don't have any injuries. I suppose Benter or Liam could play spot 4 minutes in a small lineup, but with the frontcourt we have I don't see that being likely.

I have wondered. Have republicans just completely given up on the blue lives matter mantra? I find it so odd that the police here get crucified by the party that quite literally attacked them. Pretty soon after the same party made such a big deal about how important blue lives were. Is it just a convenience thing?

ROFL. That's the point Einstein. The man running our country thinks a photoshopped picture is real!!!!! STILL!!!! Like, this weekend!!!!!!! Despite all the coverage and the fact that he has the best access to accurate info of anybody in the WORLD, he either believes the picture to be true or thinks we are stupid enough to believe it's true and is blatantly lying about it. Take your pick......and then defend it.
I agree that it was dumb of Trump but still not remotely approaching the staggering stupidity and depravity displayed by the Biden zombie and Border Czar Harris when they let all of these creeps into our country.

That's the point of your post? He does have it spelled out in tattoos with gang symbols on his knuckles that are well known. He also has a five-pointed crown tattooed on his torso, another well known MS-13 symbol.

Yes, Trump did not understand that the letters and numbers in the photo were not actual tattoos. They were added to translate the tattoos.

And what does trump say when his supporters are shot? Can't even imagine how he would use that as a political tool. How does every single MAGA in the country, except you of course, react to trump supporters be shot dead during a protest? How many lawsuits for using excessive force.......which it would have been, your Stalinist viewpoint aside? How many other protests would have occurred because of the gunning down of unarmed civilians by the state.........with dems in charge........resulting in how many more deaths and injuries?

You're a freakin psycho........who fails to even think of the chaos across the country as a result of your solution.

Gonzaga does this pretty regularly and does quite well with deep runs. I think Illinois will be pretty solid next season. Underwood is a solid coach, and he snagged some good talent from overseas. Might take a while to get them playing well together but Illinois has been a mercenary squad for a number of years now, and Brad seems to be able to get them at least respectable most years.
Few is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Underwood

Underwood’s team do well when they have a really good core back. He does not have that this coming year. Sure, theyll be solid. Probably finish in the 4-8 range in B1G and maybe make a S16…but probably flame out in first weekend as his teams usually do.

Illinois also said this last year about their team all offseason and how they were “underrated”…

Not convinced their euro players will be that good. We haven’t seen euro guys transition that quick and make a huge difference where the team does really well (wins conf title and go far in NCAAT).

Underwood’s successful teams have retained a really good core from the previous year and they didn’t really do that this year with who they’ve retrained.

And add that he has been past the second weekend one time in his coaching career, I’m not sold on underwood or the Illini.

Let's compare it this way:

If you have a daughter and she was violently raped (God willing no one any of us know and love will experience that), would you consider it a defense if the rapist stated "Look at all of the footage of her being nice to me the night of the incident!"

Good lord you are so hell bent on defending the indefensible.

An insurrection? Was the US government overthrown? Did the gaggle of rag-a-muffins dispose Biden as president?

I've lived threw a real insurrection. I was stationed at Clark Air Base, Philippines, when President Ferdinand Marcos was run out of the country. A mob stormed his palace in Manila, Marcos and his family flew a USAF chopper to CAB, and from there they were flown on a USAF C-141 to Anderson AFB in Guam. Marcos never returned to the Philippines. That was an insurrection. What happened on Jan 6th was a complete mission failure by the cowardly Capitol Police.
An insurrection doesn't have to mean overthrowing the government.
