I would think though, that you would recognize the difference between a campaign rally and a non-political event.
The thing that I found particularly significant was that the Madison Square Garden event was a UFC event and I would have expected a hugely Trump supportive crowd from the nature of the event.
C'mon now, 'fess up, you know that you would expect a UFC event to be Trump supportive...

2018 was terrible for Republicans. All Trump has done since is push people away from him, his voter base is not getting any bigger. His hardcore base is intact, sure, but he's not done anything to bring in those people that were on the fence about him.

CNN implying that Lev Parnas might have flipped and is willing to testify. If true, and if he's got documements, things could get interesting quickly. The one big missing chunk in this investigation is that the dems needed someone from the Ukraine side to corroborate everything. Up until now, we've had Zelenski saying that he didn't know that the aid was being withheld. If Parnas can prove otherwise then the Repubs are going to have nothing to fall back upon except "yes it was wrong, but it's not an impeachment worthy offense."

That would certainly buck the trend that’s been recurring in this country since FDR. That trend being that the incumbent will win the presidency, but the opposing party slowly takes over the House and Senate.
Far more likely that the Democrats win the congressional elections, and Trump wins the presidency, then the Democrats crush everything in 2024 because of Trump’s perceived inability to get anything done.

Based on the first day, I think you underestimated him. I thought he did a great job. You could tell that he has experience prosecuting organized crime syndicates. On the flip side, Steve Castor was a blubbering mess. Tripping over his words, scattered thoughts, lines of question that went nowhere.
