Worst Big Ten Championship team ever?

Why don't you cry about it you little girl.
Oh my! A scary response from troll #2. Maybe you are related to #33? Frankly I don't give a poop about your opinion here. You have made it clear enough that you and your sock puppet are not Purdue fans. Post away if you like, but I certainly reserve the right to laugh at you. Not a tear involved.

The media has its darlings snd the media shapes perception. One only has to listen to DickieV and ESPN to know that conference strength is heavily correlated with media favorite strength. Take the Big12, Kansas has won or tied for first the last 13 years. That tells me a conference overall is weak, yet the conference is perceived as strong because a media fav is strong. NW, a historically weak team, is doing well so the B1G must be bad.ACC teams can accumulate losses yet not drop in polling because the other ACC teams are strong according to perception. On the other hand, a road loss in the Big Ten is a catastrophe and cites weakness.

Branding can often allow the maintenance of a strong
I think that the question needs to be asked: is the perception of a weak B1G simply due to the fact that IU is bad and NW fairly decent?

Branding can often allow the maintenance of a strong market position before poor product quality catches up over time. Think US autos in the 1970s and 80s.

Great post and I agree completely - perception far outweighs anything resembling facts

You like and reply to your own comments.... Lmao take your meds bro.

Who would guys prefer as the 4 seed in the BIG tournamen Michigan St. or Maryland? It's going to be tough beating Michigan St. 3 times in a season. I like our chances again against Maryland if we can contain Trimble. Thoughts?

I think that is an excellent question. Way to lift this conversation above the petty name calling by mathboy, boiledsteel, and jonloosier. Some trolls just cant help themselves. They just love playing in muck. We need to drain the swamp on here.

And this is what we get by another Loosier team in Gloomington. The fans get upset, go off their meds, and make it over to gold and black to let their multiple personalities play with themselves. lol.

Yep, all part of the FRED GLASS MENAGERIE:

Do you really think anyone is fooled by you using two logins to agree with yourself? Really?

Who would you rather have starting, Cline or C. Edwards? I know Edwards has hit a little bit of a rough patch, but I think he's an all around better player than Cline. Cline will hit some clutch shots for us but more times than not gives up more than he adds. Thoughts?

Oh good God go away. Better yet, off to ignore and reporting you since all you are doing here is trolling, on both your accounts.

Your really going to take up for a dude that compares someone to a child molester. Thats not cool. Doesn't seem like a laughing matter to me.

No worse than last year's Hoosier team. The imbalance in the league is what it is, now.

We won our match-ups against the league contenders. Time to enjoy it and prove the shoe fits in the post season.
The imbalance Big Ten schedule is the problem. Last year IU had 2nd easiest schedule and won the league by two games. I remember reading last year that three of the four previous BigTen regular season champs had one of the top 5 easiest big ten schedules due to the imbalanced schedule. That is partly why a regular season title doesn't mean ad much as 10 years ago. I hate the unbalanced schedule but you can't play 26 big ten games. So not sure what the answer is.
