Will this season be considered a success after Purdue loses today?

Win or lose tonight, I am proud of this team and what they accomplished. Yes, I want the NC for Purdue, but the truth is there are more talented teams in the tournament than Purdue. We will be lucky to get past ISU. That said, let's punch them in the face and knock 'em down.

Might want to check your original post... I don't think we are losing tonight!

Still a long way to go. Hope they stay aggressive and don't start slowing it down and trying to force the ball inside on every possession.

For 30 minutes they played as well as any teams playing.

I see this as a bad matchup, primarily because based on the Vermont game I expect the refs to allow Iowa State's smaller lineup to regularly mug IH and Biggie and to not allow our guys to play physical in return, penalizing them for their physical size and negating that advantage.

So following today's loss will the season be considered a success with 26 wins, regular season BIG championship, first round exit in BIG tourney to a very hot Michigan team and second round loss in NCAA tourney?

I would say absolutely, as BIG championships are so rare and getting our first tourney win in five years is huge.
Been waiting a day to say this OP is one of the worst I've read in a long time. Giving up before we even play is so WEAK. I wanted to call you a dingbat yesterday but I didn't want to Jinx us. Well here it is: DINF*&)KINBAT....
