Who do want to win IU or NW ?

Northwestern for sure. Not only is it good to see IU lose but NW has several tough games coming besides this one. They are going to drop at least one of them if not more.

A fight and both have to take a forfeit. Kidding aside, it will be interesting to see if they let NW get away with mauling Jackson-Davis like they did Edey.
I would normally root for NW but after attending last Sunday's game and seeing the crap that Collins got away with, I can't root for that. I watched parts of all 3 games last night and never saw anything even close to the "red rover arm lock" that NW used on Edey when Purdue shot free throws. Edey complained more than I have seen him. But nothing was done.
Very frustrating to rewatch....had to up my prosaic dose...😡I admire Edey in post interview for maintaining his composer
That won't happen due to the publicity of the game against Purdue and TJD will be a bit farther from the rim where refs can see more clearly...if they care to see which I think they do now...
NW to keep the IU trolls at bay until our game with them.
Based on what. IU is 3 and 4 in road games. They average -3.87 road margin and that includes a 15 point win @ I'll. Have lost by 11 Maryland, 15 @ Rutgers, 2 @ Iowa , 19 @ Penn St. Squeezed by Mich by 1, squeezed by depleted Minnesota by 4. IU is good @ home, but below average on the road!
Purdue controls their own destiny regardless of this game’s outcome.
Correct, so my theory is you cheer for the team that you think is a better team to get beat. For me that is IU. NW is going to lose some other games, I'm not as sure that IU will besides Mackey. Therefore, if IU takes an L tonight it will give us more wiggle room if we need it.
They are trending up, us, well, we need to win tomorrow to keep me from jumping out the GD window.
I think if IU loses tonight it is over and if Purdue wins tomorrow no matter what IU does, it is over. I just think Purdue handles Wisconsin there and OSU at home although winning it with two games to go is not that common. Lose at Maryland and things start to get tough. The NW debacle was devestating...

Surprising how many Boilermakers above overlooked the fact that Northwestern led virtually the entire game at Indiana, usually by double digits, peaking at 17 in the first half and by 13 in the second half before letting off the gas to close each. Still, it was a road kill for the kitties, and they're good at home, too.

This is only the 3rd game I've seen of NW this year, but I think I have them figured out. Illegal screens and hard fouls by the dozens so refs think there can't be on on EVERY play so they let them go. Do I have this right? I am almost hoping IU comes all the way back and wins this one to shut up their clueless fans. This isn't even basketball.
