OL coach Dale Williams

- Hartwig and Holstege are playing better; played a lot of football; leaders
- Moussa and Mbow are good prospects; played a bit last year; keep developing; both have bright future; each can play tackle
- Bowl game gave all them more reps
- Craig can play tackle or guard
- Looking for five best guys
- Like to try OLs at tackle first; move them inside if needed
- Hartwig had burning desire to play as freshman; more vocal last year; leader this year
- Want Finau out there; he got hurt; he wants to be out here; a guard
- Bycznski needs a lot of reps; physical player; tough kid
- Always looking for more depth; with depth you have competition, and that makes group better

G Spencer Holstege

- Guys are connected more, communicating well
- Feel like me, Gus and Eric Miller are leaders
- Moussa and Mbow have done a good job; been physical; Moussa next to me, communicating well
- Richards has done well; Kaltenberger doing well, one of strongest in our group
- Miss Eric Miller; he’s a leader, vocal, picks players up; will be back in fall and ready to go
- Gus wants to keep getting better
- Still just drink milk and water; I don’t go out at all; stay disciplined with what I eat

C Gus Hartwig

- Spencer is an interesting guy
- Being more vocal, coming into leadership role are goals
- I think I am on par in development, maybe exceeded it a bit for from what I thought when I got to Purdue
- Have gotten stronger, which is next step
- Moussa a good athlete, good feet, long arms, gotten stronger, not tall for a tackle
- Mbow is big athlete who knows how to play; good feet; long arms
- More vocal now at center, making calls; more comfortable doing it; I am not an outgoing person
- Wanna lead by example
- Wants to help build Purdue program, like at Zionsville
