Trump attending black journalists meeting in Chicago

If the NAACP conference had 98% black people in the audience. Wouldn't that be a black audience? If 90% of the listeners on black radio are black, isn't that a black audience?

Quit trying to rationalize your misstep. I am sure Trump is also trying to rationalize his misstep this morning too with his people.

Awesome getting your news about Rs from D sources. As somebody who is familiar with WY politics working with the State. Liz was in danger of losing that seat. She capitulated on some gun issues coming from a State that everyone safely owns a gun. Second she did not stand up for State water rights to the degree people wanted. And 3rd she was NEVER in the State and was always bouncing around NY & DC TV shows. Unlike Dem voters in big cities people in rural areas don’t give a shit about how many Sunday morning shows you are on. You are their ONLY rep. Stand up for your people. But cool suck up the narrative she got ousted only because of Trump. If true, address my 3 points above. Or cut and paste something from your precinct captain.

And gotta love all this fake admiration for her only because she “stood up to Trump.” Which she only did because she is cipher for the military contractors. Crazy how you all forget she is the spawn of evil reincarnate. And if she actually ran against Kamala she would be labeled as such. Just like squishy milk toast Romney was the devil, and now he is not.
You listed 3 issues that you disagree with Cheney on. Granted there are probably more. I would go out on a limb that she voted at least 98% on GOP party lines.

I made no missteps? You did.

Lol your race centric ways are disgusting. Quit trying to justify saying "Black audience" and implying they were different - the same way Trump said "Black jobs".

It's just getting sad now. Humble yourself and do better.

This is another example where Chump know nothing about. When he says "black jobs", it may not be insulting to y'all, but that is very insulting black folks. He failed miserably with this question at the NABJ. There is no such thing as "black job". Then they try to insinuate that the illegal immigrants are here to take away these so-called "black jobs".
So in a link supplied it did in fact support what Trump stated. 45% of blacks in the public sector worked in three sectors and those sectors are the ones Illegals could get jobs less than 30K a year. I'm unaware of 3 sectors holding 45% of th white workers...let alone less than 30K a year. Facts may not sound like you wish you heard, but it doesn't change reality

No matter how you look at, the term "black jobs" is offensive to black people.

I believe you and THAT is the problem. The false interpretation of what is said when looking for "racial" things does NOT leave real dialog open. Those very jobs are at risk and those very jobs are filled with Blacks. It reminds me of the person getting fired for saying "correctly" niggardly (which means stingy) due to people not knowing what the word means. REAL dialog should be uncomfortable else digging deeper for real answers will never happen. Had Trump been "verbose" and said the illegals are taking jobs heavily employed by blacks it wouldn't be as concise and would be received better. Then like many times, he isn't verbose and then people believe what they "feel" they hear, when in fact they may be inaccurate.

In order to think, it should be uncomfortable- 90 seconds

They are hiding her because they agree with you, she always has been a terrible candidate. I will say one thing for her, she has improved on the stump. Her Atlanta performance other than the fake "you all" was very good.

As far as the independent voter...I don't thing they are voting for that which you listed......as much as, against Trump. IF.....that is what a significant % end up doing??
You may be right, however if one is voting against Trump, it’s a binary issue then as one in reality is voting crime leniency, unsecured border, and inflation as major issues.

What about poor whites. Are they in the same boat?

True. But there just might be those that their minds don't work past that first step. They leap before the thinking it all through. Lol

All poor people working in their respective areas are in the same boat. How do you think it would go over if Trump said the illegals are taking white folk jobs in whatever % in a couple of sectors in front of a black crowd. It was addressed to blacks with their percent. Nobody cared about poor white folks

That’s kind of my point in all of this. For years poor whites seem to always be forgotten. There are as many or more whites on welfare than blacks. Nobody talks about poor whites. This is why saying “black jobs” is offensive. The repubs have saying this for a while now particularly since the migrant crisis has grown. Chump was asked about “black jobs” yesterday at the NABJ and then got his response. However, the NABJ was not the first time he said this. He has said this in front of predominantly white crowds hence the reason he was asked the question. Black people are singled out by the repubs as far as “black jobs” in order to pit blacks against the migrants in order to get black votes. That’s an old school political strategy to pit one group of people against another. The bottom line is that there is no such thing as “black jobs”. The better of saying this is “lower income jobs” regardless of race or ethnicity.

Could be? It is definitely about lower income jobs. Trump's targeted audience was not mixed. It was black and the message was targeted to the audience...at least it seems that way to me. Without going back to the data, I don't think you find the participation rate (45%) in three lower income areas having similar comparison to the white population that was not in attendance in the crowd Trump was addressing. The reality is...each can interpret the comments differently and that interpretation is accomplished by any bias held which may or may not be personal experience related. What can't be denied is that illegals would hurt lower income jobs which has a higher percent of the population being black...which we know has a strong correlation to education level as well. Lower income jobs have a lower bar for education else the people afflicted would not be in those jobs other than as an entry into the workforce.

There are sure a lot of poor white people as well. According to your logic of a targeted audience, shouldn't Chump mention to his mostly white rallies that the migrants are a threat to "white jobs"?

He should call them White Dude jobs and Karen jobs so Kam can't call him a racist.

Yes, this was the NABJ. The people there did not want to hear about white, Hispanic, or Asian jobs. They only cared about black jobs. The Dems and the media are saying black unemployment is down and wages are up. I don't see it. If jobs are up for your family and friends, then please vote for Harris.

Yes, most people commenting on this heard clips but did not hear the whole show. After hearing the entire show, I thought Trump nailed it because it was hard to hear the questions. After all, ABC did a lousy job setting the program up.

I was an independent against Trump until I heard his entire speeches, not clips, and then watched Meet the Press, George Stephanopoulos, and Face the Nation. All three shows warped what he said. I still watch them, but I laugh when they let a Dem say whatever they want, and when a Rep comes on, they try to control the narrative, interrupt if they go off of it, or say something they disagree with. The woman on Face the Nation leans left but is pretty balanced. ABC and NBC almost attack all Reps, and if a Rep talks back, they are never invited back and are bashed. The woman from ABC started attacking Trump in a nasty tone the second he sat down after she kept him waiting forty-five minutes. I loved it because Trump listened and then went right back at it to her. When I go somewhere where I am invited, and someone becomes nasty to me, I go right back at them, and I see that their friends agree with me, even though they will try to justify their friend.

By the way, Bernie, who is actually to the right of Kamala, said on Meet the Press the gap between the upper and the lower class is now wider than ever. If Kamala is correct that the economy is doing well and the stock market is going gangbusters, this makes sense to me. My necessary expenses have gone up over $1,200 a month and many of my friends are going into credit card debt. To the rich, that is chump change, as they are heavily invested in the stock market, and are getting richer. And as Bernie knows, Communist and Socialist countries have the widest gaps between the rich and the poor, and the rich all work and control the government!

As usual you and other Flavor Aiders are twisting yourselves into knots. The panel did not ask Chump about black unemployment. The journalist specifically asked him about his "black job" comment that he said in a prior interview or rally.

I heard the questions fine. Chump heard the questions fine. He never asked for them to repeat ir clarification.

The bottom line is that Chump did not do well at this event. It was quite embarrassing. Just another example of berating black women journalists. He is not used ti being in front of a predominantly black panel and audience. He needs to do better.

You need to open up your racist mind and watch the interview, not the clips. There were several times when people on stage said they couldn't hear each other on stage. How pompous of you to think Trump heard the questions fine. I am glad you heard them, but the people ON stage said they did not. Trump did fine. Great, when you consider the ABC host was trying her best ti set him up. Imagine you were invited to go to the White Journalists of Gary to speak. You are kept waiting for 45 minutes, and then, as soon as you sit down. a journalist from a medium that has been warping what you said for nine years asks you in a hostile tone why are you for defunding the police, opening the border, killing babies, and starting wars in the Middle East? You thought you were invited to have some meaningful discussion, not to come to be attacked. You don't seem like a man who would cower and try to find the politically correct answer. IMO, you would verbally attack the journalist just like Trump did. I respect Trump so much because he was direct and honest and would have given the same response to whoever attacked him. If you understood Trump correctly, you would probably be for him, and if you had the chance, you would love to be friends with him. However, your vision is so polluted you can't even see that Trump has been the best President to blacks in your lifetime.

Later, when the third host asked Trump a question, he turned to the audience, smiled, and said now that is a tough question, but she asked it in a nice manner.

And again, you have little to no concern that illegals are taking white, Asian, or Hispanic jobs; you care that they are taking BLACK jobs. And when Trump was President, he got more employment for blue-collar workers at higher wages, so he took record numbers off of welfare. And he did this for ALL Americans. Trump also did record Judicial Reform that helped get many people off of death row. BTW, you can save me a ton of research by explaining why Kamala tried to hide evidence that would have taken a man off of death row,

Trump didn’t attack her because she is black. Trump attacked her because she attacked him. Last time I looked Jim Acosta is a white male. Yes he could have handled to question better, but if you see this in a racial prism you then have to reconcile why he would have responded the same way to the same question asked by a white male

Black Journalist: "You're attacking me because I'm black. That's racist!"
Trump: "I don't care that you're black"
Black Journalist: "You don't care that I'm black?! THAT'S RACIST!!"

I really don't understand the white college educated suburban female being liberal. What the hell has gotten in their heads? Are they that guilt ridden and so easily influenced?
First, college has many majors that doesn't require thinking, but regurgitating back what the teacher wants and so a degree cannot be a litmus test for thought. Second, as a sex, women tend to be more emotional than men and as they age there are many books written on such. Then of course is ignorant virtue signaling. The question always comes back to what is "educated"? If you pinned down those you describe you would find many are spoon fed by the media what the media wants you to eat and rarely have a background outside the media take to discern things quite often. I've spent my whole life around college "educated" people and I can assure you there are people that never went to college that actually think better than those that went to college.

For years I've read you describe the poor attainment of blacks in jobs and education as well as the causal relationship of both. Now that Trump points it out to a targeted audience you struggle with that. I listed 3 major sectors of low paying jobs affected by illegals and in a couple the dominance of blacks in those areas. Although there are whites most definitely in the same category the representation is not the same and Trump can say it (illegals) does affect the whole country, but as you know if he said it he would be accused of only caring about the whites and it would be effective for those needing to be spoon fed. Look at teh data below. Notice blacks exceed in those lower paying jobs at risk and then notice the comparison to "others" which also includes Hispanics that raises the percent that many would assume was just white data.

relative to this we should all remember those in the early days of the Marxist BLM (which has been shown to not care about black lives) some tried to say "all lives matter" and that was quickly attacked. Sometimes it is obvious there isn't a lot of thought provided by many coupled with those that cower from the obvious truth...like all lives matter.

You do understand that Democrats FOR YEARS said that illegal immigrants take black jobs. That is until the Democrats figured out they could change demographics and gain Congressional seats through illegal immigration. Where they wrong then when they said that?

It doesn't pit anybody against anyone if it's the truth. Besides, we are talking about illegal immigrants, not migrant workers. There's a difference.

As I said earlier when someone tried to say "all lives matter" they were quickly attacked to NOT take the message away from the black lives and that is what would happen if Trump said all or white jobs were lost in the targeted crowd. Besides the relative percentage of blacks losing jobs to illegals is different than the whites losing jobs. It is a worse problem for Blacks...but reality loses wind at times to ideology
