My thoughts:
1. @Mich
2. Msu
3. Iu

I think we would be very foolish to assume that either of the latter teams are planning to come to Mackey and fold. Both are having very disappointing seasons but Msu for sure will have a chance for a resume win next week. Iu may have given up by the time we play again but I wouldn't count on it. Thoughts?

The toughest game left is always the next one!

Yup was just going to say NW they are going to want that game bad! Would be a huge feather in their cap fresh in the minds of the committee

@NW and it's not even close. Very possibly could be the biggest game in the history of their program. Oh, and Lindsay will be back as well.
@NW will be tough, but @Mich concerns me just as much. They absolutely blew out both IU and MSU at home. If they get hot they can be really tough to stop.

2. @ NW
3. @ PSU
4. MSU
5. IU
6. Rutgers

1. Itself
Purdue has more talent and experience than anyone left on the schedule. If good to great Purdue shows up, there is no one left that can challenge the team.
2. @NW If they get their leading scorer back and still need wins to lock itself into the tourney this will be a tough game. Emotion sometimes can count for a lot. The difference is that NW has legit talent to back up that emotion. It could shape up that if Purdue wins they get a share of the title but if NW wins they get into the dance. I might make a trip up to evenston for this one.

Good luck. You may have to go to the secondary market. The game has been sold out for some time now. But I'll bet a lot of seats will be filled by Boiler fannies.

Yeah, if Lindsey is playing on Senior Day in Evanston, that will be a tough game for sure. I think that is the toughest game if he does. Otherwise Michigan, although Crisler Arena is one of better visiting venues to play in. Michigan State scares me because of the beat down we game them in East Lansing and the experience their talented freshmen have gained since then. IU is the rivalry game and I expect Blackmon to play better. We never play well in Happy Valley. Having said all that, I think we could run the table but I expect one more loss somewhere along the way.

NW will be the toughest, last game of the conference, reminds me of the game at Iowa the last game w/ the baby Boilers and we lost. The next toughest will be the trek to the Bryce Jordan Tomb after 2 straight home games.

I bought tickets a few weeks ago hoping we might be playing for a conference championship. Got them for $30 from the NW athletic office. Looks like it might turn out to be a big game for them probably not us. Cheapest ticket is $70 on stubhub right now.

What's the over under on the crowd size @ the Tomb? 6,800?

All of them. I know that is a generic answer, but it is the B1G and all the games are gonna be tough.
Based on yesterday's game in Madison and the game in Happy Valley earlier this week, I am declaring BBG the winner of this thread. I thought NW was going to fold, but it looks like we will have 3 more road games that need serious attention.

Home game against Rutgers is the only one I'm less worried about than the others.

MSU - will be coming in looking for payback and to improve their resume to make the tournament

@ Penn State - similar to our game at Iowa only PSU is probably better. It's a team we beat soundly here in West Lafayette and they'll be looking for payback.

@ Michigan - another tournament hopeful looking for a signature win to punch their ticket. I remember from the years we were on the bubble that I always figured the home games against teams ranked 15-25 were the resume builders we had the best shot at.

IU - Even if they have checked out on the season, they will bring it in this game because of the rivalry. We are their Super Bowl.

@ Northwestern - needless to say they will want to win this one badly to eliminate all doubt about getting in. Again we beat them badly the first time in West Lafayette and that will have them motivated.

I'd say we have a reasonable chance to lose any of those 5 and certainly the 3 on the road. That said, I think we are the better team in each game so we have a decent chance of winning any of them as well. Just to win all of them will be a tall order. Nobody said winning a conference championship would be easy though. Got to go out and earn it every night the rest of the way.

@NW will be our toughest game left. NW is not even close to being a bubble team! They are 19-6 with 6 games left and at least 1 BTT game. They should be favored in five of those 7. It will be senior night and they should have one of their best players back.

@ Mich is next. They are 16-9 and are VERY much a bubble team. They will be playing for their tournament lives.

IU will be tough. They are a rival and will be playing for the chance to NOT be left out of the NIT.

MSU will still be have a shot at the dance (I doubt they make it but they still have a chance) and Izzo will want revenge.

@PSU should not be looked past. They took IU to 3 OTs and it's on the road in the B1G.

Rutgers should be a cake walk. They are the only B1G without a winning record and their best win so far was a squeaker @PSU.

Flame away.

I don't think people have watched Northwestern enough this year. At full strength, they are a legit top 25 team. I put them on the same level as ND, maybe even Butler. We played them without Lindsay and handled them pretty easily at home. But, depending on the next few games go, they could be playing for a spot in their first NCAA tourney ever, or possibly even a (or share of) B1G title. And they should be at full strength. Huge challenge.

Rutgers. I take them one at a time. Whenever I get that warm fuzzy feeling that things are good, something kicks me in the nuts.
