I guess the silver lining is that this isn't a conference/division game.....the West Division is not good so far.

He has to learn how to side-step, buy time and throw away.....maybe it wasn't possible on that play as the levee broke rather quickly.

Pretty much seals it with the way this game has gone.

The greatest knock on him is he is SO slow to recognize things like that...he held it forever...as soon as you see guys coming unblocked at you, get rid of the ball...to have just tossed it to them as he did is ridiculous for anyone, much less a guy with his experience.

The only hope here is that Syracuse does something really dumb...penalty, fumble or just bad play calls that backfire, but, no way in he!! I am even holding out any semblance of hope that the defense actually does anything remotely functional or productive.
