Technically, by the idiotic NFL rule, they got it right. If you go to the ground as part of the catch, you have to maintain control until you are down. And since he hadn’t been touched, he wasn’t down.

What good is this system where they review key plays?I am not a Steelers fan but they did get screwed royally.Between that horrible call and that hit Thomas Davis put on the Packers Devonte Adams,its easy to see why people are losing interest in the NFL.Davis drew a 15 yard penalty,but the league needs to throw guys like him out for a whole year with no pay.That will get their attention..

Yep. That’s the rule. The overturn was similar to the play the Bears TE Miller was gruesomely injured on. Like it or not if you catch the ball while falling to the ground, that ball cannot be jarred when contacting the ground or the catch never happened.
